everyone was given mature responses by the admin and it escalated even more into raging hate. the thread was out of hand. the correct thing to do was lock it or move it, but i tried that and it was undone, so it was deleted. that thread should've never been allowed to get that far
ok, but who are you to decide for the entire community that their concerns weren't legitimate? people were writing essays that were literally over 1000+ words explaining their issues with expose.
doesn't it make more sense to let people complain and respond maturely to those things instead of saying "nah, im gonna delete the whole thing"???
"i didn't agree that the things you saw as problems were problems so therefore they aren't problems"

lmao fake news

i should've let the thread live and just given out harrassment vios instead
this is correct. the fact that you silenced -everyone- who had issues with expose and acted super smug about it was an awful move.
im not denying that people harassed you - just that you can't write off everyone who had concerns as being bullies.
there was no legitimate problem with expose, ive read most of the concerns and it was all bullsh*t agenda based witchhunts, the admin also have seen it and said it was bullsh*t but was more formal about it. then they started bashing the admin cause they didn't get what they wanted. the thread was a useless cesspool that should've been gone after page ten. sorry you're using it as fuel for your agenda
i feel like openly mocking the community as a moderator is wrong
i feel like using the word "community" and defending it 100% of the time no matter if they're right or wrong is more.. wrong. i've never mocked the community, i've mocked a group of people who think they can use vitriol to remove moderators and admins when it isn't deserved
are you really gonna write off the legitimate concerns/complaints that people had about expose as a "witchunt"/vitriol? we both know that there were legitimate reasons to think she should be demoted.
it's almost like deleting a thread that addresses the concerns of the community and then playing the victim when people get mad only sharpens the divide between you and everyone else.
