If the round is paused for investigation, and someone has reached 2k points.
1- People can still play their hearts ( ideally the round should be paused and people should not be allowed to play, but since it does not make a difference, and it is fun to play, we allow players to play). Moreover it is not the fault of the players so they should be allowed to play.
2- Once the day is over, the positions will be frozen. So if after the round is paused and no one is suspended then the winners can't change. This is a rule because otherwise it defeats the whole point of hearts not stacking past 10.
3- If one of the top 3 is suspended after the pause and at least one of the top 3 is still above 2k points then the 4th place person can win 3rd place.
4- If 2 players are suspended and one person is still above 2k, then 4th and 5th will win silver and bronze respectively. The positions 4th and 5th are determined based on their position before the day ended. If they play their hearts after the day has ended and their position changes, then the positing before the day end is considered.
5- If someone is suspended from top 3 and there is no one above 2k then another day of round will be played. In this case the positions can change.
The above rules have been enforced every time and users have been denied trophy due to the above rules.
I myself have never been in such a situation but I have witnessed many cases.
I argued that people should be allowed to play their hearts and change positions if someone is suspended, but the admin and mods argued that it defeats the whole purpose behind the heart reset and heart stacking purpose.
I argued that people were not aware that they could win so they didn't try.
They said that people are expected to try their best and play all their hearts within the time limit so that it is fair for everyone.
Today we face a situation where for the first time a mod is involved and can get into top 3 by playing the hearts after the reset.
Now should we do?
Should we or should we not change the rule?
