Hello everyone,

We’ve been receiving a lot of messages in regards to VWXYZ by-passing his ban. We’re aware we have newer players and hosts in our community and we would like to remind everyone VWXYZ is permanently banned from the Survivor lobby.

The moderation team agreed that we would be reviewing VWXYZ's ban after 6 months. Our hopes were that he would learn from his time away from the lobby and return with better behavior and less toxic attitude. The 6 months have not yet passed, and thus we had not yet reviewed his ban.

VWXYZ has continued to by-pass his ban. The alts he has by-passed on have been reported to us privately. These alts have been reported for harassment, disruption of games, as well as potential cheating. Our current decision is as follows, VWXYZ is permanently banned from the Survivor Lobby.

VWXYZ’s rule-breakage history:

1. Cheating 1st - 9 months and 18 days ago – Unbanned 08/05/16
2. Cheating 2nd – 6 months and 22 days ago – Unbanned 11/24/16
3. Harassment – Final ban/Permanently banned

Along with his violations, we received many complaints about his behavior and toxicity. Many players and hosts believed he was cheating. As most of you know, it is incredibly difficult to get violations in our lobby and even tougher to be banned from our lobby. Our rules are simple, and for the most part, everyone follows them. The gist of our rules- don’t cheat and respect each other.

If you suspect an account is VWXYZ, please alert the host and message our lobby moderation team immediately.

Please do not assist VWXYZ with by-passing his ban. Any users caught doing this will receive a violation. This is written in our rules.

VWXYZ has asked for unlinked alternate accounts to play games, as well as trophy games. Do not give him this information, this is considered assisting with by-passing and is punishable.

VWXYZ may ask for your account information to play under your accounts. Do not give him this information, this can lead to your account being compromised.

Please be very careful opening EpicMafia messages from VWXYZ, as well as adding him on Skype. We have no reports of hidden links, but it’s always a possibility and is a common thing banned users do. (Hidden links will compromise your account and potentially contain viruses.)

Hosts: Please note VWXYZ may privately message you in regards to joining a game with a password. Do not give him the password for your game, even if he wants to "watch" in the graveyard. Although we trust many players to watch games through the graveyard function, VWXYZ is a banned user and has a history of cheating. He is not allowed to watch games from the graveyard.

To end this, our intention is never to permanently ban someone from playing Survivor. We are a very open community, we allow anyone to play, as long as our rules are respected and followed. We have people who spend hours planning, preparing, playing, and hosting games and it is our responsibility, as well as yours, to keep these games running as smooth as possible. Our intent as a moderation team is to protect each and every member of our community. We have rules to do so. VWXYZ continues to mock the rules and guidelines our community is built on. We hoped this situation would be positively resolved and it's unfortunate this is how it's ended up. We thank you for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience VWXYZ may have caused in your games and Survivor lobby experience. We are working with site moderators, as well as site admins to find a solution.
