This is a bad idea. Imagine if it's a D R A M A thread between two people and one calls out another or just a thread dedicated to a mod who did bad stuff (we'd had quite a few of those in the pasts). Obviously everyone's waiting for the person/mod being discussed to reply so what they end up doing is they post 50+ pings which flood the mailbox of the person being discussed.

I think people should be allowed the right to not participate in a discussion. If this idea were to be implemented then we'd soon have a culture which appropriates demanding people to respond to something. This is not the way things should be.

Actually I just realized something. As long as your main account is activated you can just switch which of your alts is your main and then send pms from it.

i think one of the first things lucid should do next time he visits is let someone else do things the other 364 days

the previous idea for notifications included a ton of stuff that would boost community activity as a whole and should be one of the first things lucid does when he next returns to epic mafia

Lucid had a notification system in the works when he was updating stuff late last year but never ended up implanting it.

Just keep pushing for that because I threw user mentions on top of that pile too
