This thread is the notebook of Sandboxer tigermom. It may interest me to read these a mite pathetic thoughts of mine in the future, but if it by any chance doesn't let this thread exist as a reminder of her greatness.
Please don't request an opinion if I don't know you, thus saving me from the emotional labor of coming up with something insincere and you having to read it.
American who has never eaten actual curd detected.
No, I've never eaten cheese curds. I only eat raw unbaked uncooked (etc.) curd. It is white (or slightly slightly yellow just like milk can be). It is dry.
[BY THIS POINT I'VE DONE SOME GOOGLING AND REALIZED THE CORRECT TERM IS COTTAGE CHEESE]
Anyway I've never bought cottage cheese anywhere else than my home country so I cannot comment on whether it tastes the same in the US. But basically where I'm from it has a slight fermented taste, kind of like kephir (but way gentler). Anyway up until this day I'd had a terrible aversion to eating it without jam because it is really dry and that's just like eating a boiled egg with no mayonnaise - too much protein that's gets stuck in your throat because it's not lubricated enough to pass (ok with curd it's not as dramatic but it's still up there).
And jam is not the perfect term here because: 1) to me jam means something factory processed and kind of fake. 2) where I'm from there's a word for jam and there's another word for something also made out of berries that doesn't have any jelly in it so I eat it with this (usually black currant or strawberry "jam" are the best but I guess you can eat it with cranberries too).

I don't believe I displayed discontent when talking to you - I will fully admit I'm just extremely when it comes to 1 on 1 conversations as they aren't my forte, so that's most likely why you think I have no desire to talk with you, most of the times I usually just prefer to close myself off and always forget to reply. Sorry to give this impression. :(
GURL! I don't know you because you're way out of my league friends-wise. But please do know that I call you a Jimbetch (the second syllable is to be pronounced shortly in a very Scottish accent) and that is a compliment. I'd like to get to know you better though you have gotten on my never in the past a couple of times for your intense rule following. But anyway slay B) cause you are really cool and one of the most iconic people on this site.
Frankly I now you really terribly, yet from our meager interaction I have noticed you have very low zeal in dealing with me so I stopped trying. Don't worry, I respect everyone's choice (bad quality, probably) and don't bother people/rebound after their immediate symptoms of disinterest even if I like them so don't take it personally (not implying that I think you do, quite the opposite).
That said I do believe you are better than you think (or show; I can only comment on what I see not on what's actually happening in your head) you are. You must acknowledge (and hopefully you do) your talent with interacting with people (though I don't know how much of yourself you lose in the process)
Sorry this is so short but there are personal reasons
Wait I just realized... is "Aloha" a version of "Hello" with the syllables switched together? Like "Llohe" obviously becomes "lohe" and you also change the e to an a because you wanna pronounce the last letter. "Loha" and the first A just appears there because why not.
