Hello, wanted to ask if anyone here watches SKAM? It's a really great Norwegian TV series about teenagers which has been praised for depicting issues faced by teenagers as well as stuff like homophobia and islamophobia.
They're airing their last season Monday but that shouldn't scare you from beginning to watch the show as the episodes are pretty short (the length varies from about 15 to 30 minutes I think) and there's not really that much of them, around 11 per season.
Luckily, I, The Artist Formerly Known As Plissken have nothing to do with that egotistical brain dead user, as I now am reborn in the name of JamalMarley, my lord & savior.
So, no thanks. I want nothing to do with anything that has the word in it or anything close of the sort. If I were to watch a show it would feature important things like the wonders Jamal works on a daily basis.
I've never seen the American version of skins but assuming it is the same as the British version, I believe SKAM depicts actual teenage life much more realistically.
I'm actually really glad I'm not THAT excited about the show because I'd definitely watch it and I have exams in a month so I'd just be wasting valuable time. But I'll watch it after that I guess.
Too bad the actor went to the army. Also William ftw idk why he left the show maybe he disliked the actress for Noora?
Anyway I thought I'd share it with you all if anybody's interested. Personally, I found the show really refreshing in terms of acting et al; the fact that it's foreign makes it seem a bit more realistic in terms of other TV shows that depict teenagers.
