guiser is simply not a competitive role and guiser games should never ever be comped. it's a fun little gimmick role for when youre playing with your friends but it really is not a role for a serious game.
I am here just fighting against codes. . . How they are used to clear someone.
And actually, if closing codes won't change anything to stbs . . . I think it is even more helpful , because i am sure some people would just get angry that stbs may get removed.
Lets see... Yoyo - 1st place - 34 times played the setup.
Jabzz - 2nd place - 22 times played the setup
for those 2 to have so many points, they have to win.
And since it is most likely to flip town, then they got most their points from being town.
firstly, three players are doing arguably better than me and jabzz because they still have hearts to play and similar scores and those three are not running on stbs, secondly removing codes from stbs wouldn't change the winrate at all, codes only change the person that lynches from being the clear templar lynching in blue ccs to the clear blue lynching in templars ccs, except the mafia will never cc templar anyway because of interactions d1 being likely to give them away so removing codes wouldn't change anything for stbs
We are all too used to them to even see the problem.
Everything soon or later has to change. Rules too. We can't keep having same old rules, when the times change and new roles and mechanics are introduced.
But even if that doesn't happen, codes should be forbidden.
The main focus here is that those codes ruin games . They help players who can't play to clear their partners or themselves 100% and break the whole mechanic of the game.
Good players are going to win games regardless of the setup and their role. The balance of the setup is based on average and not on the performance of one player.
Then if the average of everyone is so bad that the setup barely keeps with the 69% mafia win rate . . .
I think it is time to blacklist it from comp for good.
Good players are going to win games regardless of the setup and their role. The balance of the setup is based on average and not on the performance of one player.
In any case, if the setup is so unbalanced to be comped, why everyone keeps comping it ? its obviously because it can be abused, so comping it helps people win.
The 43% town win is not true, because every round with this setup, the winners have their points from it.
What?
I am explaining this. If the players on first place can win so many games on STBS then it shows that the players who can't play or scumhunt are the ones who lose.
STBS is already heavily scum sided. Why would you want to make it even more scum sided by forbidding templar codes? If it were any more scumsided it would be banned from being comped altogether.
