So I have the iphone 6 with ios 10.2.1, earlier my phone kept freezing and generally p*ssing me off so i tried restarting it a few times and what not, so it went back to normal except my snapchat wouldn't take videos or anything without crashing. I deleted the app and haven't been able to download it since (hours ago)

I've cleared out a ton of videos and photos on my phone to make room. I've also tried updating my software and now I have a new problem which is that whenever i try to update the software it'll verify for a bit and tell me that it stopped because I'm not connected to internet, but I am

Idk anything about technology please help, I don't want to pay to get anything fixed, I have important snapchat streaks to keep alive and i'm also afraid of this happening with other apps

So I ended up erasing everything on my phone to factory settings and my icloud backup only had like half the contacts I originally had but it's okay because I've got my apps back.

Downside, it started telling me again that a few apps couldn't download but I've got all the ones I regularly use in there so I'm just going to hope for the best for the time being. Thanks for all the help guys! <3

Guys plz this has me stressed out bc my email boxes won't set up on my phone now either which is v important. Also half my contacts got deleted when I reset turn up lol

i think i've been in ur exact same position before! what i did was submerge the phone in a vat of refried beans and then chug 2 gallons of whole milk as fast as i could . worked for me : )

tbh if you've updated to 10.2.1 you couldn't found a major bug that that haven't worked out yet. That tends to be why I wait a little bit before updating to the newest version

back to square one, password thing seems to have fixed itself but i still can't update or download anything, today has been a great day for technology my friends

UPDATE: went through hoops to update and reset my phone however i havent done the reset that deletes everything off my phone bc I really would rather not lose texts and stuff (i guess i could back those up) but even doing a regular reset (which resets wifi, keyboard settings, location, etc.) caused my phone to pretend like it was gonna turn on then turn back off on me.

Throw it away and get an android.

Jk, you prob have to take it in to get fixed.
Try the recovery mode.

Or reset it w/o the backup like rockgirlnikki said and write down phone numbers.

It's not backing up through the phone either. No error message pops up, it just pretends to be backing up and then the little loading bar disappears. So i'm essentially f*cked

well, trying to update the software and back it up through itunes resulted in this :) i've tried 3 times and i'm getting the same message

I'm trying to update the software through itunes on the laptop now. If that doesn't work ill do the backup and factory reset. TY i will keep u all posted <3

Did you try upgrading your storage size for $0.99 a month?

Are you connected to Wi-Fi? If so, did you try disconnecting and doing everything again?

Perhaps you should back-up your data to the iCloud, and then do a factory reset? I don't trust back-ups, so I would type out or hand-write everyone's contact info.

Try doing a factory reset, if that doesn't work its probably a hardware problem
