But if the sign up was ended, people like me couldn't play a few comp games, I mean, if I wanted to go play comp, the the signup was closed and I couldn't play, that'd make a sad pony... and we don't want me to be sad..

comp is the only place you can reliably get good setups to fill and people to care about the game so you have to play it regardless of whether you're trying to win a trophy, if you want to change that be my guest
