Because I'm fascinated by crime stories, and some of you might be too,
F Lee Bailey, a defense attorney for O.J Simpson, and famous prior to the O.J Simpson trial for his defense of the Boston Strangler, provides his theory as to who killed Nicole and Ron.
I find his theory plausible.
Points for:
- Argument is largely cogent and well put together
- At the time the essay was published for free on his website 15 years after the trial, he stood little to gain from defending O.J, and indeed other attorney's who supported O.J (namely Rob Kardashian) had already disavowed him.
- While there is no primary suspect aside from O.J, handling of evidence and particular circumstances of the event (Ron Goldman is a black belt and went down fighting, but O.J only has a cut on his hand the next day?) cast doubt on his guilt.
Points against:
- Notably, F Lee Bailey was later disbarred for misconduct in Florida
- Filed bankruptcy after disbarment. Perhaps it is a wrongheaded ploy for profit?
- Hilariously and disgustingly calls Ron Goldman "Ron Goodman" which is a really surreal "what the f.uck did I just read?" moment and serves as very real evidence that F Lee Bailey could give a f*ck less about the victims.
