"How do you tell a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin." -Ronald Reagan
bernie shouldve taken jill stein's offer of being the front of the green party and then we as the peopele of america couldve teared down the walls of the 2 party system and for the first time ever, walk across the rubble into a brave new world holding hands and looking forward to the future

so if i go to a black-owned bakery, and they HAVE to serve me wanting to get a cake that says "KILL ALL N****RS" with a black person getting lynched? they can't refuse it?
I mean I don't think anyone should be allowed to discriminate and only choose certain people to serve but on a personal level if I knew a place was like that I'd go support other local businesses instead in protest
Although having to segregate which store the gays go too and which ones the muslims go too is pretty awful

but, its my freedom to force muslims to bake something that violates their religion right?
yes? if your "beliefs" tell you to be intolerant of a group then they should be reevaluated lmao. i was referring to all the policy in general tho. laws should not be influenced by some single religion's beliefs and that's what every "religious freedom" thing is. like you have the first fcking amendment already AND it's supposed to be a secular country keep your bible within your local community and out of legislation Thanks (general "you" here)
I'm against the idea of allowing businesses to discriminate however they please, but I'mma try playing devil's advocate.
Who's really forcing their ideals on other people here? As I understand it, anti-discrimination laws force tolerance on people who might not practice it otherwise for whatever reason they're permitted to have under the freedom of belief.
I happen to think that freedom from discrimination is an essential human right, but by conceding that, I admit that it is a moral principle. By mandating that other people adhere to it, I would essentially be forcing my values on them, would I not?
