All these government agencies have our information, but what are they gonna do w/ it? I'm sure like 90% of that information is irrelevant such as p0rn and search history. Most people leave a lot of sh1t public already so what do we REALLY have to fear?

Did you know the executive branch has the historical power to write off the appellate jurisdiction of the Supreme Court for any reason whatsoever? It's only been done once, but perhaps we were never as far from a dictatorship as you had hoped.
the problem is that, from a wide-angle historical perspective, this executive order is potentially of far more worth than anything else obama has achieved. this -will- be his legacy.
you might be surprised to find that i don't completely disagree with you (though probably we agree in different ways), i just don't like people trying to frame obama as someone who has done no good at all or who has bad intentions when it clearly isn't true
the reality is he is a good, sensible, and wise man, who is being lead to do unspeakable, horrible things by the deep state. but soon you will learn just what i mean by that.
remember, i am probably more involved in politics than any of you, and i consider myself a fierce liberal.
i actually have a substantial amount of issues with obama, but pointing to specific flaws and saying that will be his "legacy" is pretty ignorant of literally every other positive thing he has ever done
Can't tell if Orly is trolling or if he actually intends to be on the wrong side of history when all the scholars 50 or 100 years from now applaud Obama as the sanest, wisest, and best-intentioned president between 1980 and 2020.
idrc about the NSA. it's the scum at the other agencies im more concerned about, esp the DEA and local law enforcement contacts through the FBI. not good for the average citizen. sure, it may help them more easily catch people committing crimes, but it will make it that much easier to abuse their power, which they already do.
