Epic Mafia is a game which seems to mostly be about logic and luck, but, there is a deeper underlining logistics system which is commonly overlooked by new players and repressed to great amounts by moderately old players, while very old players just don't care enough to inform others. The system is actually pretty interesting when viewed from a third party point of view, but, like I said, people don't like to be given a mirror to see themselves. It ruins their illusion with realism.

Automatic Favortism

If you are in sandbox, you probably make friends. If you go to main lobby after sandbox, you most likely will avoid killing friends. Most people who sandbox have alts for main lobby, but, not always. People subconsciously associate things people say and ways people act in order to decide rather or not to kill someone when mafia or to lynch someone as village. This is so subtle that maybe you don't notice it, but, pick "any" main lobby player and do a census of their games in which you manually write down how many times they voted someone and compare ratios involving what games they were in. You will see a very clear case of certain people never being voted, even though they may have played a decent amount of games with someone. If they did get voted, it's closer to the first few games they played together with someone.

This also carries over to popularity outside the game. You see it in the forums. People will purposely single out certain individuals if they believe they receive "too much attention". Creating an illusion that someone is picked on or treated too kindly, ends up giving that person the opposite effect from others. This means if you go into the forum and troll your own post with alternative accounts, you will be treated nicer by a specific group of players and treated not as nice with another group.

You can divide these groups and actively analyse these people without ever playing a game with them, so long as they have a certain number of games. This means you can choose to join during certain schedules of the day in order to give yourself an advantage. You can also try to pretend to be like someone that people like and give yourself an advantage, though you better be good at it and actually "understand" why people like that person. Anyone who tells you to be yourself, doesn't know themselves, and you need not pay attention to them because this is reality.

Lucid Politics

The corruption is worse here than in the Hollywood police department. Essentially if you try to get a gold trophy and don't have enough political leverage on the website, you will likely get banned for cheating even if you don't cheat, lose the gold trophy to people who skype, or get hacked by a site moderator, which does in fact happen more than you might believe. If you come from sandbox before playing in main lobby, it won't take you long to get many violations for actually playing the game legit without breaking the rules. This is common for people who seem new. You will also likely be called someone who got permanently banned, even though you aren't them, just because you might have a habit of telling the truth in this game too often, which is greatly punished in main lobby. You might even get permanently banned just because of accusations and Lucid never reads his emails, so it's likely he will just ignore them. As long as you are likely by the mods, you shouldn't have to worry too much. This is a metagame version of automatic favoritsm, where as automatic favortism occurs subconsciously in game while this occurs in reports and leads to you getting banned because you were someones "political enemy" in getting a gold trophy. Luckily getting a gold trophy in this game really doesn't mean much other than they free lucid points you get to buy free lucid accessories with.

Left Exclusive

If you haven't been able to tell by now, epicmafia is a leftist exclusive community almost, but, the people who actually have their heads pulled out of their anus, are normally right winged. This means that if you want to be in the loop of epicmafia and actually have an advantage in the game, all you have to do is promote post modernism as shown in mainstream media, and actually believe everything you head in the mainstream media while not believing that corruption exist and taking part in the corruption.
