Accepted an offer for a paid, for-credit, legislative internship position in the Capitol. :) I'm moving there in a few days. What a way to kick off 2017.

congrats!! if you ended up going to UF tho we could've hung out
- Made tons of new friends... on EM... I think - Got admitted to MIT (first person at my school to be accepted into a top university in many years) - Passed 7 AP exams (the most anyone has ever passed in a single year at my school) - My enormously expanded knowledge in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Philosophy, History (particularly American), Politics, Economics, Art, Literature, and Film (arguably the most knowledge I have ever gained in a single year by surplus magnitude) - Lack of hesitation to use profanity for the sake of language variety and emphasis - Learned that memes aren't as shît as they used to be in 2012 - Finally watched Avatar The Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, and InuYasha in their entirety - Cave explored and whitewater rafted for the first time (second time I have been outside the state of Florida) - Probably the most important due to increased knowledge of philosophy: started to question and often reject my social and cultural norms as well as my religion. Since the beginning of this year, I shifted coordinates on the political spectrum to become more left-winged, more liberal... and then back to more authoritarian.
Overall, 2016 was a learning experience. (Between the election and my studies.) In 2017, I will attending one of the best universities in the entire world, and I definitely look forward to my future.
-Got a perfect GPA in the fall semester! -Made a lot of new friends at college -Got medicated for depression -Went on a kickass vacation with some friends I originally met online

-Went into recovery for an eating disorder that I've had for years and sustained it for over 6 months with no symptoms! -Staying in "food jail" (what I called my treatment center) for the entire duration of my treatment (which was really, really hard). -completed 12 credits in the 2015/2016 school year when my doctors didn't think it was possible. -Finish a semester of university going to classes most of the time and doing "really well" considering where I am right now, and also considering that I wasn't supposed to go back to school this year. -made some really great friends who care about me and socialized more -was able to volunteer for things I really care about. -was able to better my relationships with my family and my friends due to recovery. -actually have it not be complete poop.
- survived a lot of awful things - went to cleveland - did three pretty great shows: tribes, carousel, and midsummer night's dream - got to see some awesome concerts from working concessions at a venue - pet lots of dogs
I should feel sad not having achieved any of my goals I was planning on achieving in 2016, but I really don't. I do, however, feel more mature and just overall different which is a great thing. I can but hope that 2017 will turn out as good to me as they did for aquarius (which they should I hope).
Funny story: we were doing this thing for Christmas a couple of years back and my granny wrote on her piece of paper (it was meant to be anonymous) the same thing! I found that very funny for some reason back then. Wild times...
