Welcome to the Epic Mafia Song Contest, a game where EM users anonymously compete against each other to win the hearts of listeners all around. Anyone can join as long as you submit a YouTube link of your song choice to THE HOST.

Here's the rules

  • Songs must be between 30 seconds and 6 minutes long, unless the round theme calls for longer or shorter songs.
  • Artists are allowed one song per round. Songs that have been used in previous rounds may not be reused.
  • Entrants must PM their song to the host for a chance to play. Do not post it in the thread.
  • Entrants must vote on all other songs using the points 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. One song will get 12 points, one will get 10 etc. All other songs will get 0 points. Failure to vote will result in disqualification; repeated instances result in a ban.
  • You cannot vote for your own entry.
  • People who have not joined the round may vote in the jury using the same scoring system.
  • The entrants' songs will remain anonymous until the results are released.
  • The entry with the most points will win and go into the hall of fame!

In this sequence of the contest, you will be voting for what you believe to be the best songs out of the 14 submitted. If you've ever seen Eurovision then you know how this works. If you're unfamiliar and/or never played EMSC before, here's how to vote.

One song will get a ranking of 12 points; this is the song you like the MOST. Second place will get 10 points, third gets 8, etc. 12 - 10 - 8 - 7 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1. Take care to not rank any songs with 11 or 9 points. Since we have more than 12 songs, there will be songs without points. Just leave them without, and don't include them with your scores when you PM them to me.

hello hello everyone welcome to the nth round of emsc

the round hasnt technically started yet but basically i will be taking submissions for this upcoming round! i aim to begin VOTING by dec 14. that may not happen but its a good starting point

so basically everyone has a deadline for submission for a song on Wed Dec 14 11:30 PM EST!~

lmk if you have questions! here are the guidelines for song submission:

-entry must be what is normally considered to be music (classical music counts)

-entry must be between 30 sec and 6 min in length

-do not use a song you have used previously

-your entry must be accessible via youtube so i can create the playlist
