cleaning up forums

this isn't for lucid this is for you

there are too many redundant forums and people dont even bother much with scrolling through them anymore

delete Community. give me any topic in that forum and I can very clearly designate it to Epicmafia or General Discussion (or Spam). post your x? general. em things? em forum. community is useless and only exists to make em and general less active.

merge Personal with Spam. we all know that's what it's made for. opinion threads and blogs are spam. it's an open forum, it's not about one person.

rename Spam to Off-topic or something, just so the fact that all personal threads belong there is less upsetting.

Entertainment is a bad idea but I don't have an alternative suggestion. of the three new forums it's the least offensive

Suggestions should be a global forum, that's for lucid to resolve. lobby suggestions are insignificant, you can fit that in a single pinned thread in the em forum.

Agreed but I think Suggestions and Entertainment should be merged with General Discussion.

"sandbox" is "epicmafia" since the epicmafia forum is in sandbox (just like main has its own epicmafia forum)

op is right, why is this in community when it literally word for word repeats the description of the epicmafia forum

General discussion: Used to discuss any broad or general idea
Forum Games: Forum Games
Off topic: Anything else goes here

this way, suggestions can go global and point of the suggestions forum in the first place(for the sandbox lobby itself), can be moved to the sandbox subforum.

community is the biggest offender because i can't tell the difference between threads in community, general, and epicmafia; i have to search two forums for threads pertaining to any of them

let's say you made the following forums
- Epicmafia
- Epicmafia Community
- Sandbox
- Sandbox Community
- Personal
- Site Suggestions
- Lobby Suggestions
- General Discussion
- Philosophy
- Politics
- Sports
- Food
- Games
- Spam

now, that's pretty organized, but it's also a terrible idea because each individual forum receives less traffic, searching for threads becomes a chore because it could fit into any number of different forums, and generally using forums becomes an obstacle
