do you work in the logistics part of amazon if so where is my lotion i've been waiting for 5 years now
I use it to jack off with. I'm surprised you made such a large bulk order though. I work for Inbound. Perhaps you should get in touch with the ICQA at that warehouse facility? :)

Do you guys have a record of what people bought? I don't want you guys looking at my buying history and connect any dots....
ahh Jimbei! were you the one who ordered fifteen of this product? https://www.amazon.com/Selani-Silicone-Realistic-Breast-/dp/B00U8K9A9O . In all honesty I work on the part of the FC that checks in orders from the vendors. I cant really answer your question for sure but I will give you a good "maybe" on that. Probably, it would make sense. but outbound has seen its fair share of customer orders so who really cares.
Could you describe how your job works :o e.g. what you do in a working day
Gladly, my role in my Fulfillment Center (warehouse) is as an Inbound Each Receive Problem Solver. Basically i'm one of the first people to handle the products as they get in to the facility and if there are any problems with the process of checking in the item in to inventory I fix it. Some very common problems with inventory check ins are the truck not being checked in properly (so it was physically at our location but not virtually, i fix that), damaged goods and getting them sorted, getting misshipped items sent to where they need to be, sorting out dirty cages (when there was an error made out in stow side). Basically i'm pushing a small laptop cart around all day with a printer and printing out labels so we can add the items properly to our inventory. I also fix receive errors (when one of our each receivers scan in wrong quantities of items and such.) There arent very many of me on a shift. there are maybe like 3 Problem Solvers on my little area of the warehouse for about 50 other associates who are unloading pallets of the same item and each receivers. Its not a very physically demanding job but you have to know your to do anything.

Are working conditions really as bad as i've heard they are on the news
The working conditions are dependant on the FC. some of them are outdated and dont have climate control but the shifts are completely understandable for the industry you are in. the employment rate turnover for amazon is incredibly high but that can mostly be attributed to the fact that a lot of people who just arent "warehouse material" I.E. cant be on their feet without sitting down for more than two hours at a time apply there and get hired, with those people being the loudest people you'll hear. You do work long shifts honestly but I feel that you are fairly compensated for your time with the benefits you get and the accommodations they are willing to make if you are physically (or mentally) unable to work your position.
Is it true that Amazon facilities are mostly worked by machines?
Partly true. There are some robotics facilities that are mostly machines and those are usually for sortable items like your clothes and your videogames. a non sortable item is an item thats packaging is large, think like a ps4 box or a prebuilt computer tower size. but for the most part, amazons facilities are human powered with some good technological advances. at least in the warehouse i'm in.
what would you say is the key part in amazon's business strategy that has made it as big as it is now
The Key part has really been their focus to customers and a willingness to try things to try to further their brand. some work like amazon prime, and some fail like the fire phone.
