Martin Shkreli claims to have Hillary Clinton's deleted emails, posts cryptic message hinting he's in danger
http://www.inquisitr.com/4469567/martin-shkreli-claims-to-have-hillary-clintons-deleted-emails-post-cryptic-message-hinting-hes-in-danger/

"The controversial pharmaceutical executive, notorious for his provocative behavior and sometimes outlandish claims, posted a picture to his Facebook page on Wednesday claiming that he had obtained a sample of Hillary Clinton’s DNA. Shortly after that, he posted a picture of himself holding a computer chip and claiming that it contained emails deleted by Clinton. “How about this chip? 10 million deleted HRC emails? Oh well,” he wrote. The comment appeared to be in reference to the reported 33,000 emails that Clinton had wiped from a private server during her time as secretary of state. After posting both pictures, Shkreli posted a cryptic comment that appeared to insinuate that his life may be in danger.

Martin Shkreli says

I am not under any emotional duress. I am of clear mind and rational action. I have seen friends and family recently and I am under no psychological frustration or pressure of any kind. I have stored various files where friends can retrieve them in the event of an emergency. I do not own or ever have owned a gun. I do not leave my house in the middle of the night or travel to dangerous neighborhood by myself.

Shkreli then posted a series of characters that many interpreted as a “dead man’s switch,” set to automatically post in the event that something should happen to him."

Supreme Court says trial judge made no legal error in acquitting woman who had sex with 14-year-old boy
http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/supreme-court-sexual-age-of-consent-1.4194387

"George was acquitted of the charges because the trial judge found the sexual activity was "factually consensual" — that she honestly believed the boy was at least 16, and there was reasonable doubt she had not taken all reasonable steps to determine the age of the boy, called "C.D." His full name is protected by a publication ban."

Marvel Cancels Ta-Nehisi Coates’ Black Lives Matter Comic Due to Poor Sales
https://heatst.com/entertainment/marvel-cancels-ta-nehisi-coates-black-lives-matter-comic-due-to-poor-sales/

"No one is buying Marvel’s lineup of social justice-themed comics. It’s no surprise, given that few readers want politics to be forced down their throats. Thus liberal darling Ta-Nehisi Coates and Yona Harvey’s Black Panther & The Crew is getting the axe after poor sales, just two issues after its launch"

Kim Jong-Un ‘orders IMMEDIATE EVACUATION of Pyongyang’ as tensions with US escalate
http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/791251/kim-jong-un-north-korea-imminent-war-pyongyang-immediate-evacuation

"Reports in Russian newspaper Pravda Report claim more than 600,000 people - around 25 per cent of the city’s population - are being urgently evacuated, as tensions escalate between North Korea and the United States. According to South Korean media, residents in the kingdom have said goodbye to each other, sparking concerns the tyrannical leader could be about to act after months of nuclear weapon testing. Foreign reporters have been told to prepare for a “big and important event" on North Korea's biggest national celebration, called ‘Day of the Sun’. A tweet from Channel NewsAsia’s Beijing Correspondent Jeremy Koh said: “We’ve been told to be ready to move out at 6.20am, but no idea why. Also, no cell phones allowed.”"

British DJ sentenced to jail in Tunisia over dance remix of the Muslim call to prayer
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/04/07/british-dj-sentenced-tunisia-remixing-muslim-call-prayer/

"A British DJ has been sentenced to a year in jail by Tunisia for remixing a Muslim call to prayer. Dax J, who was born in London, was charged with public indecency and offending public morality. However, he had already fled the country and issued an apology before the court case. After footage of the event was shared on social media, the nightclub was shut down. The event the DJ performed at was part of the Orbit Festival in Nabeul in the country's north-east. The governor of Nabeul, Mnaouar Ouertani, said: "We will not allow attacks against religious feelings and the sacred". Footage from the event showed party-goers dancing to a remix of the Muslim call to prayer. Dax J offered his “sincere apologies to anyone who may have been offended by music that I played at Orbit Festival in Tunisia on Friday,” but deleted his Facebook page after allegedly receiving death threats. "It was never my intention to upset or cause offence to anybody," he said. The British-born DJ is based in Berlin, and has performed at festivals all over the world including Glastonbury."

Police now 'see' through walls and know if you're home
https://www.cnet.com/uk/news/police-now-see-through-walls-and-know-if-youre-home/

"Police forces increasingly are taking advantage of the technology behind military equipment initially designed for combat. Sometimes, though, the police might be coy about which of these gadgets they use to protect and serve. USA Today reports that, for a couple of years now, some police forces have been using a device that can determine whether a building is occupied -- without having to enter the premises. However, this information only came to light when a police officer at a suppression hearing in a Denver court said that he'd used a Range-R. He described the Range-R as a "hand-held Doppler radar device." He added: "It picks up breathing, human breathing and movement within a house." In the Denver case, police were trying to apprehend someone who allegedly had violated his parole."

Tillerson says diplomacy with North Korea has ‘failed’; Pyongyang warns of war
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/asia_pacific/tillerson-stresses-regional-cooperation-to-curb-north-koreas-weapons-programs/2017/03/16/4ec5e07c-09ab-11e7-bd19-fd3afa0f7e2a_story.html

"The Trump administration made a clear break Thursday with diplomatic efforts to talk North Korea out of a nuclear confrontation, bringing the United States and its Asian allies closer to a military response than at any point in more than a decade. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said that 20 years of trying to persuade North Korea to abandon its nuclear program had failed and that he was visiting Asia “to exchange views on a new approach.” Soon after Tillerson’s remarks, in a sign of mounting tensions, the North Korean Embassy held an extraordinary news conference in Beijing to blame the potential for nuclear war on the United States while vowing that its homegrown nuclear testing program will continue in self-defense. North Korea has amassed a sizable nuclear stockpile and appears at the brink of being able to strike the U.S. mainland and American allies in Asia. The rising threat from the isolated military dictatorship has prompted the Trump administration to begin assessing its options for how to respond and serves as an early test for how the president will confront an increasingly volatile international situation."

It Begins: Bots Are Learning to Chat in Their Own Language
https://www.wired.com/2017/03/openai-builds-bots-learn-speak-language/

"As detailed in a research paper published by OpenAI this week, Mordatch and his collaborators created a world where bots are charged with completing certain tasks, like moving themselves to a particular landmark. The world is simple, just a big white square—all of two dimensions—and the bots are colored shapes: a green, red, or blue circle. But the point of this universe is more complex. The world allows the bots to create their own language as a way collaborating, helping each other complete those tasks."

WikiLeaks Releases Documents On Alleged CIA Spying On French Presidential Candidates
http://dailycaller.com/2017/02/16/wikileaks-releases-documents-on-alleged-cia-spying-on-french-presidential-candidates/

"Anti-secrecy organization WikiLeaks released a set of documents allegedly showing CIA espionage on candidates in France’s 2012 presidential elections. The seven pages of documents appear to be classified orders for intelligence operatives to gather information regarding candidates’ political strategies and internal communications. WikiLeaks’ release of the documents comes amid growing tensions between Trump and the intelligence community over leaks of classified information that have portrayed people close to Trump in a negative light."
