Hello my dearest loving epic mafia community.

While not currently prevalent, there has been cases in the past where non-mods got to help moderate sandbox, purely out of getting to be a part of the mod chat.

As far as my knowledge extends, there is a good possibility that there may be other people in the mod chat. While it is unclear on whether or not they are helping moderate, one thing is for sure: users who are not moderators are able to see moderator business and gets to talk and discuss things in there. It's extremely easy to make a group chat with the same people as a non-mod group chat, but instead they get to see any moderator discussion, trash talk or verdicts that we do not get to see.

Does this create a lack of transparency in moderators? Most definitely. Either the mods should make mod chat only for mods, or the mod chat logs be shown to the entirety of sandbox. It should not be exclusive for certain members(one would say a 'clique') to view supposedly private moderator logs, despite them not being a moderator.

Feel free to discuss. Do not post flood.

there are non-mods present in that chat. that group is comprised of previous mods who have proven themselves to be trustworthy and respectable. you will notice that you are not one of them. you may also notice that this is bebop's lobby, and how he chooses to run it is entirely up to him. this thread will not influence that.
