This game will be a little different; it's going to be played off-site.

I've opened a php board and set up some tags that will help both with modding and with playing. Just a few of the new features that will make this way less painful include...

  • ISO's, so now you can search the thread and see only one person's posts.
  • Dynamic countdowns in all votecounts so you can see exactly how much time is left.
  • Greater selection of tags including actual italics, tables, font colors/sizes/types, and more.
  • Preview edits, meaning the site will inform you if someone ninja'd you and posted while you were writing your post.

When you register, it'll tell you an admin needs to approve you. That's me, just let me know you signed up and I'll approve you (I do this to prevent spam bots registering).

Anyway; about the actual game. Some quick details.

  • Role madness again; everyone is a PR.
  • 15 players.
  • 72 hour days, 24 hour nights.
  • My beautiful assistant Retti will be co-modding.

yeah. it's too bad the mafia team was filled with newer players and the town/survivors were so stacked. as a mod you always hope for a really close game rather than a stomp, but when it comes to role madness in particular, setups swinging hard in one direction or the other tends to happen.

the fact that himiko tried to execute Ares day 1 was the highlight for me. like i said, i had intended that role with the restriction in place to be something used cautiously when it had to be due to the threat of enemy factions joint-winning. instead himiko just slammed her foot on the gas day 1 and tries to execute the mafia bulletproof reflexive gladiator. that role was made with full intention of being a counter to Shamu & the survivor faction's shot, not the executioner. p funny.

:[ I'll be honest Awnyy, when you asked me if I still scumread you, I lied and said I didn't, but you did get a lot townier, especially day 2 when you said you were clear. Day 1 was just rocky.

That was my first ever forum mafia, i liked it alot even if i was lucky to flip town. I wish i was wrong on one in gerry/soda and feel disgusted to be fooled, like i kinda wanted a hard game but it didnt happen. 3 players were almost conf clear after the first speedlynch. Honestly, i think the game played out with the first lynch, it was all between soda/gerry then we decided to flip it and speedexecute a random scummy player, tartosis at like 4h am and honestly that was the best part, fun as hell.

Mvp is himiko imho, for outing his execute ability + using it and not being a freaking about it, i enjoyed it alot :) And thats even if he was wrong on me for about 20-30 pages.

I really wanted to get nightkilled so I could play a little more freely but my reads were utter garbage so that was never happening I think because I was going to be relied on as a mislynch later for not being too hot on both tart and nicole lynches.

Scanner’s Data
1. At most, three private topics may be part of the game at any given time.
2. At most, three different players may have obscured role flips.
3. There are three factions present in this game.
4. Two roles in the game are considered to visit mist during the night phase. Yours is one of them.
5. At most, three kills may occur in one night.
6. Mafia players have been given full fake claims.
7. There are no self-aligned players.
8. There are ten players that are members of the “Town” faction.
9. There are three players that are members of the the “Mafia” faction.
10. At least one obscured role flip may be revealed later under certain conditions.

Thundurus' role actually ended up helping the survivor faction (who were erring towards pretending they were town) the most. Mafia & Awnyy barely used their daychat.
