Welcome to Forum Mafia 19: Forbidden Actions!

Game is over. Ended on Day 5

Mafia wins! This game was ranked.

The mastermind's behind this game are Gerry, Mori and myself.

The game will be played like any other Forum Mafia game, with one twist! Every player will be given an action pregame. If the action they are given is performed, they will be Killed from the game, with their forbidden action being shown afterward. More information will be given under Rules.

I. The Schedule:

72 Hour Days. 24 Hour Nights

  • If you don't submit actions by the deadline I will consider you taking no action.

II. The Set Up:

  • There is no "possible roles list". I promise not to get too crazy.

  • Mafia will have Day chat. And will know each other's Forbidden Actions

  • You will get an Alignment PM. Town or Mafia and your alignment will not change.

YOU CANNOT SHARE THIS FORBIDDEN ACTION WITH ANYONE

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.

You win if at least one member of your group is alive and all other players are dead (or if nothing can prevent the same)

As explained earlier, there will be forbidden actions. YOU CANNOT SHARE YOUR FORBIDDEN ACTION. If found to, you will be mod killed. If you commit the forbidden action, you will be killed from the game. You may speculate forbidden actions of others within the game. If asked whether your forbidden action is something, you cannot confirm or deny. You can also not soft or hint as to what your forbidden action is.

We also will be strict about ISP and replacements. If you think for any reason you MAY have to be replaced, do not sign up. We also reserve the right to deny anyone from joining, if we believe you will troll, isp, sub.

IV. Votes:

  • Votes must be made in the format Vote: Playername. Bolding is done using the tags [b][/b].

  • I will not take any other type of vote. If I can't tell who you're voting, I won't take it.

MOD NOTE Mori will be giving out a token prize to a player from each alignment who the hosts determined played best.

You can think it's all fake you want but I'm genuinely upset about this. When I think about restricition, I think about a funny quirk, not something that could be interpreted in a way that could affect how you read someone.

Restriction where you can only type one sentence at a time? Fine.

Restriction where you can only post in pictures? Annoying, but fine.

These are not barring on alignment, however, intentionally lying/contradicting yourself is, because such behavior is alluded to as scum behavior. If PonyLove is town and we lynched her based on this alone, then it's literal modding. This is only an assumption, but it would still make me very upset. I also do not like the other restrictions such as 'cannot out townreads' because that is again barring on alignment. Not outing your reads can be perceived scummy and it also reduces the amount of information we as town can get. Not happy with these decisions at all.

PonyLove's contradictions constantly are in lieu of this, but they are also scummy. It's very hard to discern whether her oddball behavior is lol restriction or just her actually being scummy. Do you see why that's bad to read? Bad to play with? If we lynch PonyLove and my assumption was right and she can only lie/contradict herself, then ultimately we lynched her based on restriction behavior and not player behavior. This is a detriment to the game because we would be wasting another mislynch based on something that we cannot properly discern, because the mods already decided for us.

Retti could have killed me or N1ed last night. We were both obvtown PRs that had potentially useful information ESP. considering he's scum in this universe. well I mean SOME people fosed us and it is possible he picked up on me not fosing him....but I think his claim is really towny and makes sense since he self-watched, too.
