Welcome to Forum Mafia 19: Forbidden Actions!

Game is over. Ended on Day 5

Mafia wins! This game was ranked.

The mastermind's behind this game are Gerry, Mori and myself.

The game will be played like any other Forum Mafia game, with one twist! Every player will be given an action pregame. If the action they are given is performed, they will be Killed from the game, with their forbidden action being shown afterward. More information will be given under Rules.

I. The Schedule:

72 Hour Days. 24 Hour Nights

  • If you don't submit actions by the deadline I will consider you taking no action.

II. The Set Up:

  • There is no "possible roles list". I promise not to get too crazy.

  • Mafia will have Day chat. And will know each other's Forbidden Actions

  • You will get an Alignment PM. Town or Mafia and your alignment will not change.

As explained earlier, there will be forbidden actions. YOU CANNOT SHARE YOUR FORBIDDEN ACTION. If found to, you will be mod killed. If you commit the forbidden action, you will be killed from the game. You may speculate forbidden actions of others within the game. If asked whether your forbidden action is something, you cannot confirm or deny. You can also not soft or hint as to what your forbidden action is.

We also will be strict about ISP and replacements. If you think for any reason you MAY have to be replaced, do not sign up. We also reserve the right to deny anyone from joining, if we believe you will troll, isp, sub.

IV. Votes:

  • Votes must be made in the format Vote: Playername. Bolding is done using the tags [b][/b].

  • I will not take any other type of vote. If I can't tell who you're voting, I won't take it.

MOD NOTE Mori will be giving out a token prize to a player from each alignment who the hosts determined played best.

ALSO aren't scum given fakeclaims in games like this? Why would I claim rolecop instead of my fakeclaim? Not to mention using my role on retti as scum would be useless because I'd already know his role! I guess you have to take my word for the fact that I had no idea I'd get a certain type of JOAT back. i'm torn because that's such a terrible line of logic but i can't see you making that claim as scum.

What if she's not third party? Your role would be going straight into the void of uselessness. I feel like it's safer to roleblock elsewhere. I mean, I SERIOUSLY doubt we'd get trapped in a game where 1 action from a certain player was enough to result in a town loss.

I roleblocked Babylonia both nights, if there is a serial killer, she's it.

Hence why I immediately started tunneling her right after Retti did his dayvig gambit on me. I thought I blocked a faction kill. I still think I might have.

Now in terms of Retti, there's one of three situationis where the first one is much more likely. 1. There is a scum roleblocker that blocked Retti. Simple. There's already lots of claimed pr's and most likely 2 factions. We have JOAT/RC/Doc/Orc/RB/Whatever the F*** N1ed is/Forbidden Psychic. I can believe that town and scum both have roleblockers with this many prs and POSSIBLY two factions. 2. There is a scum bus driver and Babylonia is mafia that tried to get whatever happened to Retti on her. So Retti might have eaten my block since I blocked Nat. 3. Retti's scum that's bluffing a block. 1 and 3 are possible 2 is an extreme scenario imo.

First of all I disagree with assuming retti and I couldn't be town together. Forbidden Psychic is NOT a powerful role and this is clearly a large, pr-heavy game. Then again I guess I'm no expert, but I want to know if Retti's my CC.

Secondly if you think we're direct CCs why would you not lynch between us today? Or better yet, lynch ponylove, who is either scum (giving us a ml) or oracle on Retti. Assuming there's a third party, we might actually <2 MLs left. I'm not comfortable with this logic sitting here for a long period of time like that.

And thirdly, why do you sound like you suddenly switched reads? Didn't you fos retti and TR me until like, just now? Off the top of my head I can think of SEVERAL reasons that flip makes no sense.

i also think retti is town. i don't really think we have a 3rd party in the game, but was only willing to consider it since pony was acting so weird

also, who did you think was going to die if you didn't piece that himiko was the likely choice? (i thought the kill was between you and her)

that just leaves aug/shears claims, and they should claim given that everyone else has

i think its 11/4 and i dunno if maf HAS to have strong scum roles for this setup to kinda work, but my thinking is that blues practically have ccs at the moment

Scum more often than not have roleblockers vs. town. However, I believe both factions have RBs. Or, I was driven. But I kinda doubt that. Regardless, if I were scum, I'd literally just claim blue besides this. It's my genuine role.

because i was almost 90% sure this role didn't even exist in the game and if he claimed it (which he either had to cc me or impoetic at the time) i'd be okay with lynching it because i don't think there are saving/killing roles in this game

anyways i believe n1ed claims doc. he immediately went to reread me because he thought i cced him and also was okay with voting me over transcend over a course of a night

for clarification, i am not doc. i was okay with lynching N1ed even if he claimed it because i didn't actually think there would be one given that we've only had 1 night kill. im only reconsidering here and i know im going to 100% regret this because soda claimed he was role blocking babylonia every night


1. not sure why mafia would choose to role block retti on one night, and not the other unless there was a attempt at a role block on both nights (making it n1ed, because i believe impoetic to be town)

2.i really don't think doc exists because of forbidden actions that are likely in this game. n1ed is just about hard claiming his is not claiming his role. i kinda believe if theres a doc, they'd probably get the action of making sure that someone doesnt die

that all being said, i really doubt theres a doc in this setup, but i will retract so there isnt any confusion about who cc's who
