in this thread i'm gonna be dishing out compliments to members of the community that i believe go underappreciated, are underrated or just deserve the encouraging words. if i haven't given you one, that doesn't mean that i'm ignoring you or that you aren't worthy of one, i probably just haven't gotten around to it or thought of how to express it.
i'm genuinely proud of the community for gathering together and letting the mod team know that they'd like something to be changed, but doing it in a constructive and positive way. i speak for the whole mod team when i say that we have no problem changing rules to fit the wants and needs of the community, but we'd appreciate very much not being insulted or belittled whilst you ask for it, which has happened in the past.
so thank you a whole lot mac, we saw that the community wanted changes to be made and was making their case in a constructive and non-hostile way and we listened.
aquarius, i think you used to dislike me a while back and at this point i can't for the life of me remember why or if there even was a reason, you've mellowed out a lot since then and i think that you're a very positive presence in the community now. it seems like some people haven't paid attention enough and still hold the opinion of you they held before you calmed down, i wish people would look closer and see that you actually do a lot of underappreciated good for the lobby now.
error, i really didn't know you all that well prior to modding you and i was a little intimidated by you. now that you've been a lobby mod for the best part of 4 months we've had the opportunity to talk a lot and get to know each other and you're legitimately one of the easiest to get along with people that i know. you're nice to people and you deserve the absolute best.
Sishen, you've got a mixed reputation within the community, but on the occasions where we've spoken on a personal level rather than f*cking around in lobby chat you've been a really down to earth and friendly guy. i wish more people would take the time to get to know you for who you are rather than letting others form opinions for them.
Platypops, you're someone i've (at the very least) been aware of the longest, you were here when i started on the site years ago and you've stayed yourself this whole time, i don't think anyone really has a negative opinion of you and that's because you're one of the nicest users in the community. i'm glad you're back, man.
bdog1321, i feel like you've gotten less active recently and that's a shame. i know you probably don't have a great opinion of me after the whole demodding thing, but i really think you're a good personality within the lobby. you and beth are great together and i hope you continue to make each other happy.
i guess i'll do izzy first seeing as she's viewing this thread. izzy, you're a lot better than you give yourself credit for, i know that you perceive yourself as having a lot of glaring flaws but you're honestly nowhere near as bad as you think. you're a really outwardly friendly user and you're nice to just about everyone. thanks for being part of sandbox.
