Stiffy: Yeah, I'm a color player tbh since I studied draw :D
So far, I like the pastel palettes and white/black mixed.
Haven't drawn anything on MS Paint yet haha, your sketch was cool XD
The digital art will take your time at the beginning, until you are familiar with the tools fluently, it's addicting and help drawing faster.
However, hand-made art is the best.
