Why would there be chatbots in a simulation? That's absurd.

Imagine the technology that would exist. I might have personal interactions with 10,000 people in my life. Wouldn't it be simpler to generate those personalities than rely on interconnection in the exponentially greater amount of simulations that would be running?

There are a lot of excuses that could be made but the simplest is that it isn't set into the controls
