new and improved is like.. okay example time: a new an improved iphone from the iphone 5 would be an iphone 6... its the new version of the same product... new bc it is the most recently released but improved because while it has old features the other version has they are optimized so that it is easier for the consumer to use them (therefore IMPROVED)
