assuming gs isnt a nob, the odds for a mafai victory will be 50/50 if pee ahr is successfully killed and 33/66 otherwise. the best case scenario, in which gunsmithy is killed, gun is given to bleeder or to mafai, AND mafai hits leader for 4 way no clear, happens neglegibly.

as such i believe such a play is a selfish way for some nob to nope out of playing a mafai role, at the expense of severely harming the mafai's prospects of winning.
