Sorry about the forum spam, but i really want to open a discussion on child stars. We all know that some child stars went crazy and others didn't. I have always looked up to Amanda Bynes and the Olsen twins when i was a kid. I was really sad when I first saw Amanda's twitter, but I know that she's just another human being who isn't happy with her life. I think the case with Bynes is probably different than other cases with stars like Lindsay Lohan. Disney has really screwed a lot of child stars over. They were basically their pawns. Disney always want to make sure that no one makes a mistake.

Any thoughts? Who are your favorite child stars? Who is your favorite star who has turned into a respectable adult? If none, why? what happened to them?

disney might be doing the same sort of thing, selling kids a really false reality, and then it cracks, and there's a mania that follows. probably more just cultural tho

def there might be individuals' own personal mania playing into how they turn out tho. i once had a gf who was sweet af, just cute, and i did the dog tbh, like, bigtime, and after that she was 100% sex and dressing provocatively and whatever, and last i heard of her she was taking p0rnstar selfies in auschwitz lol

i mean this is cultural probably, more so than anything disney is doing. it's just, like, what's the market? it's just sex and scandal pretty much, so these once innocent kids, trying to stay marketable, just go with it. not much more to say. it's america rather than disney

children in hollywood have a huge risk of being taken advantage of sexually, which is probably a contribution to some of them going insane. there are many pedos in hollywood. some people have experienced it and still havent spoken up about it because its hollywood and you dont want to make enemies. ben savage (cory from boy and girl meets world) was abused but he acts fine and never spoke about it. there was a quick video of two pedos in hollywood a few years back grabbing his butt and ben just carried on.
