How can one like math...

I see some business opportunities for us mathematically inclined folk. We could start a EM maths/science homework service... at a price.

also thanks for help

If I may give my input~

So given four dice of which only 1 should be a six, the probabilities:
* Three of the dice can be anything but a six, therefore each of them has a 5/6 chance of NOT being a six.
* One die should be exactly a 6, therefore a 1/6 chance of that happening.

The probability for ONE arrangement where you have exactly 1 six, is then (5/6)*(5/6)*(5/6)*(1/6) = 125 / 1296

However, the six can be at any one of 4 positions, and therefore 4 different arrangements with a fixed position for the 6. We then have the possibility for ONE arrangement times 4:

(125 / 1296) * 4 = 125 / 324

for b) you need to calculate the probability that you get one 6 and 3 not 6s which is 1/6 * 5/6 * 5/6 * 5/6. you then need to multiply by 4 because the 6 can be on any of the 4 die.

Yeah I'm doing the same, it's pretty much the norm here in India. It's not very easy to get good pay if you don't hold a masters' degree
