since there is a 1500 minimum point thing for competitive, why not make it so joining the competition takes those points (i.e. subtracts them) and therefore it will keep gamethrow accounts from playing because they would have to farm 1500 points worth of games to get into every competition. (the points gained from competition would go towards the points and you could join the next round using those points if you dont have the necessary amount of points otherwise).
there should still be a cumulative point counter where it keeps track of all of the points you've ever gotten like it is currently.

i don't like this, i don't play enough anymore to warrant 1500 points every round, but i do want to play competitive games every now and then, maybe 5-10 games every round, and this will end up just stripping me of points every round

i think we should completely wipe all the trophies, scores, karma, etc
why not just add a new kind of heart that needs 10k+ points to start getting or new lobby that needs 10k+ points to play in it. if it doesnt have trophies or low entry requirements then it will be way rarer for people to throw games and it lets people who want a higher level of play not have to deal with terrible players
