Sandbox Assassin

rules:

  • if you are currently signed up as your alt account, please message me and change to your main account. It's not fair and inactive people / alts WILL be removed.
  • Please do not only use your alts / sui and avoid games with other players. It takes the fun out of the game.
  • If you are rude to current / past players, you will be subject to removal.
  • Don't pretend to be someone's assassin. That's just rude.

If you break a rule, you get a warning. If you break a rule on more than one occasion, you may be removed from the game.

How to play

Every person has been assigned to another player who they will have to assassinate. No one knows anyone else's target. The point of the game is to be the last person standing. The prize is 20 tokens AND a steam game from this list (thanks to Bebop): http://pastebin.com/bffUBRya .

How to kill

To assassinate your target, you need to be in a sandbox game with them and kill them in one of the following ways:

  1. At night (EX: mafia, hitman, vigilante, killer, ww)
  2. With a gun (Including fab guns)
  3. Mafia killing powers (EX: terrorist, voodoo, poison, arson)
  4. Jailer / Gator meeting
  5. Ghoul kills
  6. Granny visit kill
  7. Passing them a bomb / killing them with bomb when anarch
  8. Hunter shots
  9. Trapper / Ceptor kills
  10. Governor overthrows
  11. Bodyguard kills

You CANNOT assassinate by:

  1. Lynching them
  2. Being lover/cupid on them & dying
  3. Culting them, then dying
  4. Starving them (if you're baker)
  5. Having them mismason on you
  6. Being bomb and them shooting you
  7. Other player randomly sui's

When you kill your target, you have to post the game link in this topic for verification. The person you killed is now out of the game. You have to message them telling them they were your target, and then they will message you your next target. If they don't reply / tell you your next target, message me and I will tell you!

ROUND TWO

Begins on July 20th once the targets are given out. In the next week, you must kill your second target. If you kill them, feel free to move on to the next one. If you are killed, you are out. The first time you don't kill your target before the deadline, you use up your one "pass". If you miss two deadlines, you are out of the game.

I think it is fair to use your alt for casual playing, but avoiding your main to avoid the game is not cool. If you didn't want to play the game, why would you even sign up

i mean not playing is a fair strategy since you can't force them to play, and for example kage may opt to not play at all and just chill in forums/chats/etc if you ban alts, so it doesn't really matter in that aspect

how do you guys feel about alts? because I get both sides. If someone is totally avoiding their main account until their target is online it's kind of unfair. But again, it's nice to have a break where you are unable to be killed.


Kage is camping on his alt until he sees his target and then he hops on his main to kill his target then goes back to his alt and repeats the process. Kick him out. That means his assassin cannot kill him unless the assassin happens to make it into the 1 in 20 games the main account actually goes into to get the target. If you aren't going to do something about this, then everyone will do it and it will not be fun.

i think alts are fine and shouldn't die nor be able to kill. there's already penalties for not playing enough in the registered account, and other than some of the obvious or the well known ones, there isn't really a way you could know who they are.

people can also just not play if they want to avoid getting killed, so using an alt or not playing is about the same for the case, and you cant force people to be online all the time

yeah i mean its not like its super easy to figure it out, the person has to apply memory and logic. itd be a different case if it was because someone leaked it but as it is... but like i said, your hosting, your call

I kinda agree with this, its not the person problem if her assassin failed to stay anonymous.

2. PLEASE stop suiciding / leaving games with assassin players. It really takes away the fun of the game and is frankly immature (welcome to sandbox though). I will start giving out warnings for it and if you get too many warnings, I'll remove you from the game.

@siramelio the game setup makes it impossible for you to be your own target. You only are your own target when everyone else is dead / you win

You can play on your Alts. You just can't kill / be killed while using them.

@Dooze, in regards to this. I would like to play a less stressful game every now and then. are you saying that we cant play on our alts at all/alts will be counted? Because I play on my LunaWabbit acc whenever I multitask/shitgame.

Just to confirm that way I know just not to play at all unless I want to have mystery mc somebody breathing down my neck at any given time.

Edit: I've also have been playing under my registered name as well (my main here) so it's not like I'm purposely using an Alt to hide or anything.so I'm still active.


i feel like the rule of this should be "kills only count for the account that is signed up in the game" so if you play on your alt you shouldn't be considered a target, nor should your kill count if you are playing on your alt and kill your target.

Putting a hit out on DouradaGrelhada. If he is your target and you kill him I will buy you a steam game that costs 5 bucks or under. Kill him and manage to win the game i'll up it to 10.

what happens if at some point i have to target myself? do the targets get resetted each week or
