I'm introducing a new variant of mafia. It's called Pranay Mafia. The entire game, start to finish, happens in only one day, with no night phases.

Here's how it works:

Instead of lynching, each town sided player has one chance to guess who all of the mafia are. If they are off by even one person, they die. If they are right, town wins. As usual, once the mafia overtakes the town, they win.
In addition, many players will get power roles. I will list all possible power roles below. All powers will happen during the day. It is possible to have more than one power role.

To use your guess, type in bold:

hammer: player1, player2, player3, player4, player5 ..

Slight variants of this format are also accepted. The town will know at the start of the game how many mafia there are in the game.

Game starts in 24 hours from the time I post this thread. Signup if you want to play.

Update: There will be a time limiting factor that slowly tilts the game in the mafia's favor if the town fails to act for a long period of time. I will announce what this is once it is triggered. Hopefully we won't need it.

Yes, that is correct. The entire town wins if just one town guesses all 5 correctly (there are going to be 5 maf)

Yea you can include dead mafia or not, up to you. Everyone's role is revealed on death.

Explanation for Pranay: every town can guess a set of n players (order doesn't matter) where n is the number of alive mafia. Town will always know the number of alive mafia.

"wrong" if one or more of the players in the set is town sided, or if number of players in the set =/= n

"right" otherwise

if "wrong", player guessing dies

if "right", town wins.

mafia cannot guess, but they can still type out the format for guessing. it just won't do anything.

I'm not sure what you mean by that pranay.

If multiple towns guess the exact same combination of players as their mafia, they all the same result (die if they're wrong)
