Hey rondar, you should check out letterboxd - it's a pretty solid movie blog review site. I'd highly recommend it and it sounds like it's right up your alley
Mother's definitely a favorite of mine! Let me know what you think when you get to it! I watched it together with We Need To Talk About Kevin, which was... interesting.

I'll put that on my watch list! (Sadly it's like a mile high) but I'll make a real effort to watch it this weekend
Glad to hear you loved those movies too, they're a few of my all time favorites as well

hey thanks! i've been eyeing letterbox'd for a long time, but god im too lazy to actually start up a list of what i've watched. i'll eventually get to it. hadnt realized how big the reviewing component of it was, guess ill look into it sooner rather than later!
And because at the end of the day, the European Union is a 20th century solution to the problems of the 20th century. Europe is not the centre of the world anymore, and we're in the 21st century now.
a fair argument, but not one i think justifies a break down of the EU as opposed to a strong shift in policy (if thats still possible deep in the trenches of bureaucracy). otherwise meh, seems i havent payed as much attention to the EU as i'd thought (but hey sh*t's plenty down here).
The EU has just gone through the biggest financial crisis since the Great Depression, a massive sovereign debt crisis, and the biggest migrant crisis since the end of WW2. Has it reformed? Not in the slightest. It's rotten at the core and it needs pulling down.
the germans seem to be profiting nicely off it though

definitely! since graduating i've finally had time for movies again! the better ones off my film log from the past couple months (caught up on a lot of new releases):
(2015) Bridge of Spies (2014) Camp X-Ray (2006) Das Leben der Anderen (2011) Melancholia (1998) The Big Lebowski (2016) Captain America: Civil War (2015) Room (2016) The Nice Guys (2015) Mad Max: Fury Road (2016) Zootopia (2009) Fantastic Mr. Fox (2015) The Big Short
Melancholia, Room and The Big Lebowski were probably the best off this list. Melancholia took me a while to like, Room had me in tears and TBL was a classic id never watched. so glad i finally did! (wouldnt have appreciated The Nice Guys as much if i hadnt)
