Honestly, what do they have to do in order for you to perceive it as a threat? Start going after children? There's a reason why known sex offenders are made public, because you never known whether or not they're gonna act on those impulses.

Even if they don't, what kind of message are you sending to the minors of this site by modding a pedophile? You're basically telling them this is not a safe place by putting someone like that in a position of power.

I get that you want people who are qualified, but I'm pretty sure there are tons of people who aren't pedophiles that are just as qualified.

We're not trying to convince we're saying the basic human understanding on why allowing someone who likes kids in a community with kids is a bad idea.
