I always felt being spoiler free was the incentive into watching it live, if you can't do that then it's on you to do all you can to avoid spoilers and quite honestly that does mean avoiding the internet. I don't spoil anything unless its clear that the person I talk to has watched it too, that's just my personality, but I don't feel bad for anyone who gets something spoiled, myself included.
I feel like it's no big deal anyways. If the show/movie/game you watch/play is ruined by spoilers, and you're not there for the journey maybe you should reconsider what you're watching or playing.
As an avid viewer of Survivor, which almost always gets spoiled before the episode even airs, I have but one thing to say: oh, my sweet summer child, what do you know of fear? :)
