SimBB 16: Heroes vs Villains

over 8 years

Welcome back to one of the primetime guilty pleasures seen across many screens- both big and small! SimBB Production has decided to return for an all new season with 16 new houseguests, but with a bit of a theme in play!

These 16 new houseguests will all be considerable Heroes and Villains. They might not have to necessarily contain some superpower or concoct a plan to end the fate of mankind, but suffice to say, many of them will be known as good guys and others not so good guys!

Think you can enter someone who has what it takes to not only withstand the essential alliances, backstabs, betrayals, but also additional good and bad guys? Submit a character every 48 hours with the given application!

Applications are a tad different this time around. When you submit a character it will have to include the following competitions: Physical, Mental, Endurance abilities for Challenges and there are other attributes such as Strategy, Loyal, Social, and Temperament. This means that applications have to have all 7 components in which 20 points can be divided among.

Example

Name: Spongebob

Hero or Villain: Hero

Physical: 2

Endurance: 4

Mental: 1

Strategy: 4

Loyalty: 1

I'll be making a fun little thing at some point tomorrow about predictions that are even MORE likely to be wrong, but that's the fun in speculation.

Wendy Wu (Cammy)

And we round off the cast with a well-balanced player with a slight emphasis on the physical game

I get a really good vibe from Wendy based on her stats. Her social and strategic game isn't great, but it's not laughably bad. The 2's for social and temperament could do some serious damage if she's unlucky though.

Despite this, her comp stats can save her when she's in a pinch and maybe even grant her a clinch HoH win. I'm looking forward to seeing who exactly she decides to work with, because that can make or break her.

Wendy is the dark horse of this season, I wouldn't be shocked if Walter and Hillary both lose because of underestimating this homecoming warrior.

Walter White (LineLiar)

Dat Strategy. It's enough to make you wonder: "What arbitrary reason is Bgeas gonna make up to say this guy loses?"

Well, humble citizen, allow me to explain in a few short sentences why this druglord is ACTUALLY, my 2nd pick to win.

His comp stats aren't impressive, but they won't bog him down like they will for some others. The guy even has a 4 in there. But it's entirely possible for this guy to lose via bad luck in comps.

His strategic skill is 5 which is REALLY good in these sims. No complaints on that front.

The thing that separates him from Clinton is his lackluster social skills. The 2 for loyalty and temperament aren't enough to tear him down, but the fact that he only has a 3 for social skills means there will be more than enough people who are better than him at comps, or more socially savvy, to send him home.

"I am the one who knocks"....on the front door....because you just got evicted.

Ramsay Bolton (Happy0wns)

I was expecting to see a lot more Ramsay's this season (Lots of 4's, 5's and 1's) but, this will have to do.

His comp game isn't all that bad, a 1 in mental isn't as bad as a 1 in the other categories. However, he has impressively high strategic skills and loyalty. On paper, he should be a really good player.

But, onto the bad. And it's bad. Having a 1 for temperament is bad. Having a 1 for social skills is bad. Having a 1 for BOTH??? Everyone's gonna hate this guy. Literally, I'll be surprised if his inevitable eviction isn't unanimous. He gives off every indicator that he SHOULD be a great player, but once people start seeing him as a threat, RIP.

Pig (BobbySmith)

This looks to be the contestant that I'm expecting the least from. He only has social game, that's it. But he also has really high loyalty/temperament, which means he's not even gonna get involved in much drama. He's an excellent alliance member, practically a free vote, but that's not winner material.

He has one of the worst comp stats out of anyone here, which, needless to say, is a bad thing. Maybe his social game really will be enough to make it far, if he gets in a good alliance, he can float pretty far into this, but, I can't really find any situation where he wins.

Let's play, "Name the player Pig can beat for jury votes", here, I'll wait.

Loveita Adams (jessys)

Queen Canada returns with a vengeance. She's got an interesting setup for her competition-stats. A 5, 3 and 1 for Physical, Mental and Endurance respectively. I HATE the 1's for endurance since they make HoH wins so much more difficult, but, this is what we're stuck with. She's got some good self-control with the temperament score, which is good for the long-term.

Loveita has okay social/strategic game which may not be that good in this group of players. That 1 for loyalty doesn't look particularly heroic either. She has a very situational stat layout, which doesn't say good things about her longevity.

I'm trying to think of a group of players she could work with, and I can't find anything that seems likely. But stranger things have happened.

Leeroy Jenkins (UltraAug)

Looking at his new stats, Leeroy fits the same mold as the rest of the male heroes so far.

Good comp skill? Check.

High loyalty? Check.

Strategic ability that makes me wanna gouge my eyes out? Check.

I don't wanna sound like a broken record, but that's really it with these guys. (Pig is an exception, we'll get to him soon)

That temperament is sad. We're gonna see a lot of un-heroic actions from these guys, I can tell already.

Can he win? Of course, if he bro's down with the other heroes they'll be a shockingly strong force. Bad temperament won't tear apart a group with 5's for loyalty. But, who's to say they'll even work together?

Kaceytron (xSoniaNeverMindx)

If history is any indicator, Kacey isn't long for this world.

However, I'm obligated to talk about her chances to win this game. *sigh* Her stats make her Hillary Lite. She has great strategic ability, good social game, but lacks that 1 in loyalty that really strikes a cord with me. Her temperament is 1 point higher than I thought it would be, but that''s a good thing. Overall, it wouldn't surprise me to see her do well, but we've been down this road before.

Her physical game is bad. Most HoH's in Big Brother are Endurance or Physical, so we can really scratch those off from Kacey's list of aspirations. PoV's, on the other hand, don't look impossible for her to win.

She's not god-awful, but she's not impressing me either. We'll have to wait and see if this journey lasts longer than the last.

Ilana Glazer (qrstuv)

Ilana has some pretty good but balanced stats with an emphasis on the social/strategic game. I'm getting a pretty good vibe from her, all things considered. She's not crippled in any aspect of the game except purely physical competitions, which are uncommon. She could end up in an alliance and aid it in a pretty significant way, and maybe make it all the way to the end.

My big worry is, if Ilana makes it to the end, she won't be able to point to one aspect of the game and say "I DOMINATED this" I can't remember the last time we had a winner that was just sorta okay at the game. She really seems to lack any sort of X factor that (almost) everybody else has.

I'm rooting for Ilana to surprise me in this game and do something great, but great things don't happen often.

Hillary Clinton (jbomber732)

This is one to keep an eye on folks.

Hillary is my pick to win this season.

We haven't seen such a cutthroat houseguest since Elsa herself. This is one situation where the 1 for loyalty makes complete sense to me. The perfect social score and good strategy is more than enough to counter the negative effects of this in the short-term. And her physical game, while nothing great, isn't to be ignored.

Hillary's kryptonite is that 2 for temperament. If she involves herself in enough petty fights, instead of focusing on the strategic game, she could really hurt herself in the eyes of the jury. In spite of this, she is a force to be reckoned with and evicting her isn't gonna be easy for anybody.

I can't wait to be so wrong.

Harley Quinn (Dariukas47)

Wow, that's a lot more than 20 points! Looks like someone's a CHEATER!!!!!

(The rest of this comment is going to assume the stats in the simulation are the same as what Dariukas47 posted)

OP, WOW! Unfortunately for Harley, an OP character has never won one of these games. Unfortunately for this analysis, it's hard to point at specific stats and say "THAT'S BAD!" But I have to commend Harley for at least having a little loyalty. She certainly has the ability to create, sustain, and aid an alliance, but, this all comes down to who she chooses to ally herself with.

In fact, these high stats could very well cause people to target her extremely early. That's not good! Unlike other characters, I can't point to a single specific flaw right now, however, just wait for the sim to start, she doesn't have a chance.

Hannibal Lecter (PotatoPlayer)

Hannibal Lecter having high physical skills instead of social skills is really throwing me off, but let's go.

Hannibal is entering the game with amazing "get me out I'm a threat potential". His high physical stats could be good for winning a clinch-competition when it comes down to it. That's pretty much the only positive thing I can say about him.

His badness in the Social Game is inexcusable. And with only average strategic game, it seems impossible that he'll pull himself out of this. If he makes it to the end, it's either because RNGesus blessed him with comp wins, or he was absolutely carried.

Zero chance of winning, on to the next one.

Fox McCloud (Bgeas15)

DISCLAIMER: Writing about my own player here, so just be aware of that as you're reading.

Fox has some form of steady control over his game. Of note, he has pretty high physical stats which makes winning comps entirely possible, as well as high loyalty and an acceptable social game. If Fox ends up in a dominant alliance that can aid him strategically, he can become a powerful force in this game.

Fox isn't gonna be winning any puzzle comps in this game, and the low temperament could cause some potential jury issues if it comes up. But, this issue seems more likely to come up with other players than him. Unfortuanately for myself, I can see an outcome where Fox carries a strategic beast to the end of the game and gets no jury votes, but that's assuming he doesn't get betrayed earlier on.

Good Luck!

Donald Trump (N1ed)

This wall-building son-of-a-b*tch has a really peculiar stat lay-out. The 1 for loyalty is not always a good thing guys! You WANT people to trust you. ANYWAY, we'll start with some good stuff. The 5's for strategy/social are good, no doubt about that. And his comp stats aren't the worst either. He can nab a few early HoH's and possibly take out some big threats to his game.

However, with all these upsides, come some downsides. His physical stats aren't terrible, but remember, you can only win HoH for 1 week before you're outgoing. And that low loyalty/temperament WILL turn a large chunk of the house against him. His low physical/mental stats are gonna make winning PoV pretty difficult and that could be how his story ends. Even if he does make it to the end, those actions could ruin his relationships with the jury.

This Trump will likely be stumped. When? That's gonna be hard to find out.
over 8 years
Arthur (Ginga)

Them 1's though. Okay, I'll TRY and start with the positives. Arthur is and insanely loyal, physical beast, with a surprisingly good social game. This man is gonna make his alliance and he's gonna stick to it, god damn it. His competitive goods could be enough to pull out a PoV win which could be essential to saving himself or an alliance member. He has the potential to quite literally carry this game if he pulls out enough comp wins, and attracts the right kind of allies.

NOW TO THE BAD! THE 1 FOR ENDURANCE WWWWWWHHAAAAAT? Notice how I said Arthur might win some lucky PoV's, because he has NO CHANCE of winning an HoH! That 1 for temperament has the potential to undo all of his social game if he gets angry at the wrong people. And the 1 for strategy means whatever alliance he does get involved in might be some pretty disloyal people.

I'm not sure how early in the game Arthur is gonna get eliminated, but looking at the rest of this cast, it's looking really bad for this hero.

Amora the Enchantress (Minecraftfangirlftw)

Amora is basically the opposite of Alison, her stats have been purposefully balanced with mostly 3's everywhere. The exceptions to this are an EXTREMELY low loyalty (not necessarily a good thing) and a 4 for Endurance. This sort of neutrality is a good thing early on, it's unlikely Amora will do anything to make herself a target, and it's even possible for her to rack up a few comp wins (maybe).

However, this neutrality doesn't typically make for winners. Amora can skate by early on, unless someone she dislikes wins an HoH, but her success in this game is very much reliant on the success of whatever group she inevitably involves herself in. That's not really a bad thing, alliances are needed in this game, but, with loyalty like that, she's gonna break a lot of trust when it's needed the most.

Overall, I'm confident she'll do okay. Probably and Early-Juror though, since she won't have enough trust with those around her to survive a nomination.
