I'm taking things as they go and re-evaluating when I feel something which makes me feel I need to re-evaluate. Slots that aren't posting much content (Sonrio, Connor) aren't likely to get re-evaluated at this point...

That's a perfectly reasonable way to approach the game, as long as you're willing to take a step back and re-evaluate at regular intervals. Wisdom that's been imparted on me says that trying to form partner reads before anyone has flipped is generally folly but if you wanna play that way, I won't kick and scream about it. You do you.
I like the insight we're getting to N1ed's thought process a lot, actually. The combined with the way he was frustrated my read on him wasn't stronger by now has definitely improved my opinion of the slot.

i was about to say something very flawed and I think it helped me point out my problem: I'm seeing this pretty linearly. in my eyes I NEED to have a scum and I NEED to be getting reads from them. i can see how that way of thinking is bad and I'm gonna try to fix that tbh

You don't have to apologize for your reads, I'm OK with being pushed. And I appreciate that you're trying to create pressure. I don't label the reads on purpose, I can talk later on why that is if you like but I'm not going to for now.
i think n1ed coudl be town though. Explain why aug is towny. I absolutely refuse to unvote aug until someone quotes a towny post from him and/or explains SOMETHING about their read.
as it is I think it's scummy that no one is considering him.

On N1ed, I discussed a bit how I had some reservations about his "townslips" and decided to write them off as null because the way he dropped them seemed like it was very possible for them to be faked but I'm not convinced they weren't real either. His read on me is odd and doesn't make much sense but I don't particularly think that's a scumtell coming from him. I'm curious to see how his reads progress though.

The AtE from Ripple rang towny to me. I don't like that I townread it but I do. There was also this post

He's asking others to explain their TR's, yet justifying his STRONGEST READ read in FM with "gut." That itself is an actual fallacy.
