If the majority of night actions have not been submitted by the end of the night, I will extend the night another 12 hours. This will only occur once per night at most.
II. The Setup:
(Changes from previous forum mafia games are in bold)
Normal closed roles setup, as always, with the roles and affixes listed below.
By default there are no Night 1 actions, including the mafia kill.
By default no role can self visit, except watcher.
Players who share a meeting may communicate outside the game at any time of day.
Players are always notified at day start if their role is changed.
One mafia makes the kill each night. They will be the only one to visit the target.
On death, players flip their full role by default.
Members of the mafia may both make their role action as well as the factional kill on the same night.
Please note the addition of the Twilight phase (in short, discussion after the hammer has occurred is now allowed until I am present to begin the night phase). Also, supermajority rules are in effect with no time limit.
V. Game Mechanics:
Meetings between players (mafia, masons, templars) will be facilitated in whatever way is most convenient for the players, as long as I can access these communications. Skype, Discord, QuickTopics, or Private Messages which include the moderators are all fine.
Votes must be made in the format Vote: Playername. Bolding is done using the tags [b][/b].

1) Serial Killer cannot joint with any other faction. 2) Serial Killers do not have a night meeting with any other players by default. A hypothetical killer with a Meeting affix could exist. A potential killer/mason hybrid role could exist, or a mason could visit a killer to make the two share a meeting. 3) Must Act is a possible affix for a Serial Killer, but it is not applied by default.

john I think you might be over thinking this. it IS day 1, and I think we've established that we are not going to no lynch, so for now, we focus on reads and getting a mafia if possible. On d2 things will be more clear at the least, and we can look into game semantics when they're actually useful.

I wanna know what we're possibly dealing with.
Few things: Win condition for serial killer ( can they win with town as well as maf?) Do they have a night meeting? Do they have a must act affix like killer in em?

okay yes I was thinking about this earlier but I decided that discussing this would be helpful, but it isn't worth it. the mafiasos are better off knowing nothing, and we're better off just sticking with the fact that we have to have at least 1 mislynch for now.
Coll23 I agree with you on the role thing. I was thinking that the hosts have put in a serial killer, thats my out of the box tip for this game. We could be dealing with 2 seperate kills at night so we should think about that.
I agree with john. That is what I did when looking into the role list and assuming there were three scum and atleast one third party with thirteen players. I looked into other games, and it backed up what I assumed ( 3 mafia)

Hmmm, I see Stragger came here with a good batch of reads. The mislynch comment should not be taken seriously. The reason behind that is that the role list gives three maf roles, and I assumed that there is atleast one third party, which gives us a mislynch today.
Stragger, my vote on Blister was at the time because I did not loke his opening. You can dismiss your argument against the timing though because I probably have a different timezone. Your argument is null.
According to your reads list, you say I am obvious scum. You back it up with nothing but timing of votes, which is not evidence, and my mislynch comment, which is not something that should be taken too seriously. If you want to call me scum, have a stronger basis.
I dont know if this is a good strategy or not but i've also started to think about possible roles that are in the game? Obviously we dont wanna give reads to maf but is this something we should consider?

honestly, the four or five of us can talk all day, but until we get certain people to be here, we're all gonna be on a giant goose chase to find reads when there's nothing to look for. so yeah, idk when the momentum really kicks in on the reads, conversations, and voting, but that's when we will be able to comprehensively decide on a lynch
Zayn should be obvious to read later in the game LOL, i feel he is emotional and his reactions will be obvious, for this reason alone i dont wanna lynch him early.
Anti-Had some really towny posts and tried to form solid reads within the first 3-5 pages but nothing more after that so it's why shes a town read for me it's not someone I would lynch but I'd look more into them

also I don't like reading people like sincerely/stragger because from what I've read, they have both provided specific helpful things to town that stick out a bit, and when people do that I always tr them even though mafia can do that too.
also john, I have that same feeling about ultra and I kind of feel bad, especially since I scum read his start when mine was just as bad if not worse
