My friends dad has pancreas cancer and it is terminal. How do I talk about this to him and act around the father. I am not sure what to do since he could die pretty fast...

Don't pretend nothing happened/nothing is different, but act as if nothing has. Take it seriously and calmly if the topic comes up, but I'm pretty sure someone in that situation would want you to remain the same way as before the diagnosis.

"How do I talk about this to him?" Is the friend not aware his father has cancer?

If he is, try talking about topics other than terminal cancer.
