Isn't Stein more popular with the left?

If you don't like the bipartisan system (and you shouldn't) you should vote for Jill Stein. She won't win, but if she gets 5% of the vote the Green party would get equal fundraising rights, and your vote could make an actual difference for once instead of picking the lesser of two evils.

I wonder if anyone realizes that once they become the older generation they will look at the new generation like they're idiots because of things that used to be true in the old days
New theories will be proven wrong whether you like it or not, and society will evolve, just like it is now from the days of the Baby Boomers
That's nice. Even if you tell people to abstain from voting, the old people will still vote and you'll be upset about the results because you didn't vote.

Oh, and if anyone is religious, here are some interesting quotes relating to global warming:
2 Peter 3:10 says "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."
and
Revelation 16:8-9 says "And the fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given to it to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues; and they did not repent, so as to give Him glory"
On topic: every American should abstain from voting.

Well, I mean, I didn't try to sound like I don't care about it, because I do, but no matter what we do or don't do, the Earth will warm. Sea levels will still rise, Earth's ocean belts will still change, the ocean will continue to become more acidic, storms will be stronger, tropical diseases will spread, heat waves will be more frequent, and all of this will cause famine, and then war right after the famine.
Try as we might to stop this, it cannot be stopped, at least right now in the kind of modern science and information we have.
This is exactly where I thought I would find a global warming discussion.
I am glad you found what you were looking for.

Global warming is a fact. Triatmoic molecules reflect heat. CO2 is a triatmoic molecule. Burning fossil fuels (which we do constantly) emits CO2 into the atmosphere. That CO2 reflects back heat. What part don't you get? Core concept?
there's really no proof of MAN MADE global warming.
so hamstringing american companies while the rest of the world powers through doesnt really seem like a great idea to me
There is proof of man made global warming actually. Literal decades of studies. You'd know this if you'd gone to college and taken literally any science course, but instead your most tangible ambition is assistant manager of the Wendy's you work at, and as a result you envy and yearn for the days where racism was a celebrated cultural value and you could be successful even if you were stupid as long as you were white.
I know this about you because you support Donald Trump, and people who support Donald Trump are invariably one of two kinds:
A. People who are both educated enough to understand exactly what his policies entail and rich enough to benefit from them, who vote for him in order to advance themselves.
B. People like you, who are uneducated enough to fall for his rhetoric and demagoguery, and stupid enough to vote against your own interests because his wife makes your pee pee hard.
Anything predating the year 1000 is largely just a straight line. You can preach that a near 50% increase in CO2 during the height of industrial power is primarily just a coincidence combined with 'natural heating' but who would believe that?

Those statistics have nothing to do with the normal warming/cooling trends of Earth if you quote them to just compare old man-made levels to new ones.

As of 2008, the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere was about 40% to 45% higher than it was before the start of the industrial revolution in the 1800’s.
This probably isn't incorrect, and I have previously stated that man-made global warming is definitely helping along the natural processes. Do you have any idea what the significance of those numbers are compared to a normal warming trend?
Because every argument Trump makes is an Ad Hominem.
Like saying illegals are illegal

i said astronomy and ice ages
He studies the global warming/cooling trends that the earth as far back as science allows, but you know, way to cherry pick and attempt to invalidate everything i said

The information I have is directly from my professor who specializes in the sorts of studies like Global Warming, including Ice Ages and Astronomy etc.
B-but its America's fault, my sociology professor told me
