wtf, jealous. I haven't even got a shiny since ruby, but then again I don't exactly look for many pokemon, and kinda just use repels for 90% of the game :3

i'm ready for my beautiful, stupid water dog

This is shaping up to be my favorite modern Pokemon game (Post Emerald). Until now Black 2 and Omega Ruby were tied for my favorite, but this seems like it'll take the good parts of both. Black 2 had a great story, probably the only one that actually made any sense and felt grounded in reality. But Omega Ruby had the charm of 3rd gen with the technical advances of X/Y, so both were fairly amazing.

But this one seems to be having a special 'unique' charm, the benefits of x/y/or/as, and even is giving throw back characters like black 2/white 2. (Black 2 and White 2 probably have way more, since the world tournament is a thing) But at least giving us Red/Blue and X/Y characters already shows the possible directions they could take. Even just these 3 shown are pretty cool additions.

With all the mega's/Alola's/primals the competitive pokemon scene, ubers and over used are going to be revamped quite a bit. The balancing might be , but eventually we'll sort out a new tier list.

I haven't paid enough attention to this game until now, with dq7 and smt 4a coming out so recently, but i'm getting quite excited now!

Without pokemon gyms, I hope the alola challenges are almost the same thing. But better? So hopefully there's 8 or 16 of them. Not 4 or 5. Forming the league is cool, it's possible we'll have a rival become the first champion, or we'll become the first champion. So the league could just be an elite 4 at first. Who knows. Maybe there will just be a normal league champion who gets elected right before us, but I feel like at that point they'd just do something exciting with us being the first league champion.

Then of course we get to fight red/blue, that'll replace the 'battle with the strongest' that the champion often held in the past. So we can get hype for that experience!

I imagine the post game will have some major element to add to replayability.

WE NEED TO PLAY ONLINE AFTER WE BEAT THE GAME GUYS! IT WOULD BE FUN!
