Hi, I am honestly not wanting nor trying to cause problems but I just wanted to say something.
I fear that new mod Totori may be getting a little out of hand with giving out lots of vios, and giving out serious ones too liberally.
I went ahead and did some math:
Mods and the amount they vio:
Gerry has vio'd 43% of the reports he has done.
SimplyPam 29%
Solace 19%
Slowbro 29%
Haze 45%
Hibiki 30%
Sonrio 41%
Peach 38%
Anti 37%
Laptop 40%
Lycii 14%
Pingu 31%
Totori 50%
I bring this up because I go to the reports tab and I see 6 appeals against Totori on the first page.
I think a way to fix this is to maybe limit newer mods to certain report types as they are starting out, in an attempt to maybe get them more accustomed to how moderation works. For all I know Totori may have been a mod before and I am just stupid but nonetheless I think something needs to happen here. Gerry has done 1200 reports and given 20 GT vios (1%!), whereas Totori has done 92 reports and already given out 10! (11%!).
Just something I thought should be addressed. If a mod deems this as me trying to start drama, it's not, but they can go ahead and lock the thread. This was made earnestly in hopes of fixing some issues before every report done turns into an appeal and therefore ruining the reports section of the site.

And hmmm, sure it's a thing to consider but I think the idea stands that:

gerry giving 10 GT vios doesn't make any sense otherwise

to be fair i would have like 50 GT vios given if not for bell changing/deleting the old rule
Tatami, she's only given 4 notes so that wouldn't change much.
Look, I'm not trying to publicly kill the mod it is just an observation. I realize she has low report amounts because she's never and so that makes it look worse, I am just saying that her start so far is somewhat alarming.
totori was ironically modded to highlight the problems with over moderation, dont worry jeff its all part of a big plan to open the mods eyes just go w it
(They have only done 8 reports regarding HC, Lilin)

Few points:
1. Small sample size. The only one with anywhere close is Lycii. Happening to take two vio reports in a row for Totori raises their % overall by more than 2% as a result-it is entirely possible that this is well within the range of error.
2. Gerry is the worst mod to pick for the GT vio comparison, either because he is too lenient or tends to avoid them (Probably the latter). Taking someone from the middle to compare (ex. Sonrio or Pam) would be more useful. You're taking two extremes and there are people who have a lot more that you should be concerned about if you're using Gerry as the standard-ex. Antikrist has given 40 in 700, Hibiki 20 in 278.
3. A lot of people get overturned and their mistakes are corrected while Totori's have yet to be-skews stats slightly.
4. You need to remove notes from your calculations, they are not violations.
5. A lot of mods take duplicates to inflate report counts. Totori may not fall into this category or have had the chance to do this as much as other mods have.

One was already OT'd by other moderators and the rest are piling up. I just suggest that maybe more severe reports should be held off on by newer mods until they get the rhythm better. it's a bad observation because sending out vios doesn't correlate with who deserves it and not. If Totori is modding only reports that they surely know are HC I don't see the problem
everyone appeals their reports I don't see what you're talking about, like for example Chaika got a violation from Totori for using slurs and other harassing things but he still appealed.
