Almost instantly, at the start of every game, one person will arise as clear and demand (using his clearliness) that everybody selfvotes. If you contest his internet weener by not self-voting, he'll throw a tantrum and try to turn the town against you.
This style of gameplay is highly illogical, since the random role generation determines if you're "clear." This is not a merit-based position, you should not trust a "clear" to handle your precious red heart because nothing is more serious than a game of epicmafia.
Forcing everybody to self-vote immediately removes all reads based on who fosses who. This is one of the most important tools for determining alignment. This is a skill that can be cultivated.
Now I know all of you people on the forum know this. You are all pre-2011 players who wish that skill and scumhunting was back in the game. So let's start bringing it back.
Start pointing that finger of suspicion on people.
Start questioning why people are FOSing others.
Contest the clear and call him out on how tiny his internet weener is.
