Not really. Trump supports tariffs, Cruz knows they hurt American consumers more then they help American manufactures.
Cruz supports good entitlement reform.
Cruz' anti-terrorism plan focuses more on fighting ISIS then being racist against muslims.
Yes, Cruz is an idiot on a lot of issues, like the gold standard and immigration. But unlike Trump he actually has some good ideas.
Though really any republican candidate that supports Fracking and Nuclear Energy is really more pro-environment then the democrats who oppose them.
Frackings not good for the environment, but it's much much better then coal and oil, which is what it's replacing. Banning fracking before we actually have an environmentally friendly alternative is stupid (if you mention unreliables you're admitted to be uninformed about energy policy).
I support carbon taxes and deregulating nuclear energy (deregulation=/=making unregulated. Nuclear has been over regulated since three mile island), though if given the choice between the one [democrats] or the other [republicans], I'd take the latter, since it would help both the economy and the environment.
Ben Carson is the least qualified, and sounds like an idiot when he talks about religion or foreign policy. But you can't really call one of the worlds best neurosurgeons an idiot.
We have six candidates who I think would make a good president (ranked from best to worst): Rubio, Cruz, Bush, Christie, Fiorina and Kasich.
But really any of those candidates there would be much better then anyone who's been nominated for president in the last 15 years (possibly longer), Rubio just edges out the rest of them.
The democrats had a couple of good minor candidates running (O'Malley and Webb), who also would have made a good president. Sadly they're down to two downirght terrible candidates who, if elected, would be the worst president since LBJ. (Trump would also be that).

Ted Cruz- Most punchable face, also the most hated. I don't agree with anything he says lol
Donald Trump- It was said you can't bump him, yet he finished second by a decent margin. However, Iowa picked Mike Huckabee to win the race so take this with a grain of salt.
Marco Rubio- I hate his overly Christian values and disregard for the environment. However, if he picked Mitt Romney to be his VP I'd vote for him over Hillary.
Ben Carson- Probably the stupidest candidate out of the bunch. Shouln't be polling as high as he is.
Jeb Bush- Poor Jeb, probably gonna drop out soon. He's extreme, but the rest of the loonies make him look like a moderate by comparison.
Carly Fiorina- Was the head of HP. HP sucks. Somehow less qualified than Ben Carson.
Chris Christie- He used to be more of a moderate, but has really turned up the crazy to try and draw more votes. One of the few Republicans to care about the environment and prison reform.
John Kasich- One of the 3 candidates I'd consider voting for over Hillary, although he really doesn't understand encryption at all. He also supports Common Core, which sucks. Still a very smart man, and I can see him as a VP.
Rick Santorum- I didn't see he dropped out when I made this. He lasted longer than I thought.
Jim Gilmore- Who? He wants to tax the internet and he's head of telecommunications. LOL.
