i'm attending a seance tonight and it's my first time, i'm keeping an open mind because i've never had a paranormal experience before so i have no opinion on whether these experiences are "real" or "fake"
has anybody used one before/got any interesting stories/holds strong opinions on the subject?? i'll post back here at some point tomorrow night with my findings

By nominal I don't really mean nominal I mean a lot.

For a nominal rate I will preside over your ouija session and bless the board afterwards, I am a fully ordained minister.
the best is when multiple people are all trying to move the planchet in different directions and it ends up spelling out like 'dklvbp' ghosts aren't real
was that the one where the girl died at the beginning and everybody made a rly big deal about it but then nobody cared at all about the 5 other people that died after her and they were never mentioned again? if it was i was so mad that i wasted £10 on watching it

omg at the end when the friend who died appeared to help her everyone in my theatre started laughing it was so beautiful
it was pretty funny that everyone in my group who claimed from the start that they didn't believe in any of it ended up being the most scared once everything was set up. whether it is real or not, the amount of energy in that moment is pretty crazy to experience
+ i totally undestand the ideomotor effect although people that i trust have told me about experiences they've had where the board has spelled out the names of people/places/dates of events that nobody in the circle had ever even heard of before and the information all turned out to be factually correct
obviously they could have subconsciously stored the information at any point in their life and then subconsciously impacted the movement of the planchet but i don't wanna credit or discredit anybody until i've had a decent experience with the board

the planchet moves cuz of subconscious muscle movement, it helps if people 'believe' and aren't just wasted and goofing around.
update: nothing happened, the rest of the guys went to the pub and downed 6 pints each in an hour and they spent half an hour making jokes and mocking any potential spirits and the planchet didn't move
even though it didn't work my mind is still open about it and i'll try it again with sober people sometime soon

I've not used one but I know that teenage girls don't understand the ideomotor effect
