I'm going to post here when I can't figure out certain aspects of Java. I don't know how many of you know the language well, but help will be appreciated as I go through this bootcamp.

Also an excuse for me to post a countdown until Doomsday.

146000 search results about photoshop in that search, not all of them actually about brush lag or other technical issues versus the 217 million pages on which the word photoshop appears at least once, hm.

After page 3 there's hardly any articles about slow loading news sites, and one of them actually claimed new york times took 4 minutes to load, which is plain ridiculous by any standard. What is their test rig, an apple II? The only thing that I would describe as slow is mobile but even that wasn't over 15 seconds and the page was interactive and usable in a lot less than that.

Think we have a different definition of the word consensus.
