gonna bump this cuz i finished this sh*t yesterday
pretty much this
there really wasn't enough to convict him, no way he kills her in the house and there's 0 trace of it. He isn't Dexter, he didn't plastic bag his whole god damn house while brutally murdering her. the kid was literally confused as hell and you could tell by his body language in the interviews that he was just answering questions how he thought the cops wanted him to answer them,
the series as a whole is obviously biased in favour of steve, so i'm holding back whether i think he's innocent or guilty, i just know that the lack of physical evidence alone, with the fact that witnesses were contradicting each others timelines means he shouldn't have been convicted.
one thing i would've wanted them to go further into details about was the timeline of the interviews and when Rachel Avery first told detectives about the birthday party incedent - primarily since it's obvious her family made her change her testimony and say she made it up, but had that incident happened prior to detectives screwing with Brendan's head i would be sold on that alone.
oh my god lol remember when she was like "god sent me"
there's something i found really interesting - this evidence wasn't present in the series - they found the camera and phone in the barrel or burn pit (i'm not sure which one) TD's ex boyfriend is the one who gave a camera to the girls and "guessed" her password and deleted voicemail. the voicemail is an important evidence and her ex-boyfriend should've been the suspect.
ALSO GUESS WHAT? Brendan's father is married to Jodi now....hm..
or how about the detective calling in when he very obviously found the car not at the salvage lot and then moved it there later and then sent the girls to search for it at the salvage lot.

if the jurors truly believed he was guilty then there has to be 2-3 people including Steven Avery 100% and maybe Brendan (ill see what happens when I'm done with last two eps). I'll explain why. It is evident that something happened in the truck since it has his DNA and Teresea's DNA in it right? If he's guilty then maybe he walked to her truck and tried to do something and she fought him that caused him get a scar on hand. It prob explains why there's some blood in the truck? Now, if it was really Steven Avery who left her truck then how'd he get home? Somebody else obviously had to help him and it's UNLIKELY Brendan. He probably would've been too scared and gotten into a car accident. I find it fishy how they did not suspect somebody else after hearing about fake confessions.. Anyways their car theory doesn't make sense at all. Why would Steven Avery carry her body from the garage and put it in her truck and then drive FAR then changes his mind and come back just to burn her body?

Interesting that the keys were found by the cops who weren't allowed to be involved in the investigation, AFTER the other 6 times the ones ALLOWED to investigate DIDN'T find them *eyeroll*

i think that he was taken advantage of by both the prosecution and the defense by way of his considerably low cognitive function and that he still probably isn't certain himself which narrative he's supposed to subscribe to despite maybe having been an eye witness, accessory, or accomplice to the murder

Spoiler
what do you think of his "confessions"?

really curious how brendan dassey pulling his confession details from "kiss the girls" was never addressed further
i'm currently on ep 9. two out of 1 counts say that he's guilty which is BS because there's a lack of evidence that shows he did it. the house was searched like 12 times. the investigators found the key on 7th = 100% weird. there was no victim DNA in the bathroom or any blood from the house to the place where teresa's body was buried.
