You should definetly do it. Close the sign up in a competition 2-3 days after it has started. People who join right at the end , do not join to win. Those who join to play 1 game and then stop, also do not play to win.
If you want to play competitive then sign up normally like the rest of us.
People join late just to throw games, troll, and cheat. As long as players are allowed to join in a competition 4-5-6 days after it has started right at the end, there wont be any shortage of cheating alts and gamethrowers.
90% of the players of competitive rounds are the same old players. Nothing will change if you lock it 2-3 days after it has started. It would just stop some of the gamethrowers and cheaters to just join with other alts.
Ok. It can only be implemented if xxerox is banned for the first two - three days of every round

You should make remake this thread but title it "cheaters don't read pls" so that if you implement the idea none of the cheaters will know to sign their alts up before lockdown.
This is a preventive measure for gamethrowing alts, players who join just for 1 game not knowing how the setup works, then quiting because everyone are too hard on them etc.
I made b2ns 7 times 2 nights ago. It always reached 6 players before we got outspammed by fancy pants.

Woah! How will my 24-month old gamethrow accounts ever get to throw games now that I only have a grace period of 4 days to click the big red button? ...Fùck.
1: Games will fill without 1-2 players. 2:They won't be mad. How many players played Ranked and then complained that is too complicated and they are never playing ranked again. 3:someone gt, gets a vio, uses an alt with different IP gets a vio. repat 10 times. ??? Profit?
