Heyyyy everyone, this'll be the main thread for the game I'm hosting, along with my cohosts, mist and Hibiki!
I. The Schedule:
36 hours per day, 12 hours per night.
I'm looking at a January 1st start date, but if the game fills up quickly it can start sooner! It'll likely begin at noon, PST, January 1st.
II. The Setup:
Normal closed roles setup, as always, with the roles and affixes listed below. Any role can be town or mafia, and have any number of affixes.
By default there are no Night 1 actions, including the mafia kill.
By default no role can self visit, except watcher.
Players who share a meeting may communicate outside the game at any time of day.
Players are always notified at day start if their role is changed.
One mafia always leads the kill, and it's always the one that submits the kill last. Each mafia will visit the kill target.
On death, players flip their role, alignment and affix type by default, but not their affix details.
III. Supermajority Lynch Rules:
We've decided to change this rule up a bit! Due to how people were lynched before they were even given a chance to speak, we're making it so that the supermajority lynch rule will take affect once 24 hours have passed. So if a day were to start at noon on Jan 1st, supermajority lynch rules will take affect at noon, Jan 2nd until midnight on Jan 3rd, and so on. If a supermajority lynch takes place (like 9/16 votes on someone) they are automatically lynched and this ends the day.
If you want to vote, use this "[b] vote: player name [/b]"
If you want to unvote, use this "[b] unvote: playername [/b]"
Anything that's not bolded will not be counted!
VI. Voting Log:
Since I'm not sharing accounts with a cohost, we're going back to the old voting log! Which is I will probably periodically post a voting log during the day if requested. (This is probably the hardest part about hosting)

On second thought, Anthony didn't actually expect to be sheeped on Tucker, but professed to be happy he was sheeped, iirc. I just barely skimmed a couple pages of D1 which is progress for me!! looking back it's only from your recent entrance and i more or less had a null on you before then
look at it this way i might be looking for maf for the sake of it
but that just really rubbed me up the wrong way considering we're at a juncture in which the town is clueless: that said i'm more than a willing participant in putting my reads on hold for the vote counting and read listing to see how the rest of the town sees things.

so yeah there's a problem here. I mean I could cram Gerry in the SR spot but I considered putting Gerry at null because I kind of feel like his demeanor RN is that of a town I just DON'T KNOW ANYTHING I'm sorry for wallowing in my nubbiness I can count in another post but I'll post this in case someone else posts at the same time as me.
That was a joke but i'm still in shock that you can sr me about the first few days and the reason why I'm "doing this around me" Is because I already gave my reads and you all know my reads so I don't feel I need to say "Why don't we try lynching ___" When you already know who I want lynched

but yeah it's an entry like this that arouses suspicions from me because it's an entry directly relating to her not being maf rather than finding who is the actual maf, it's probably not an overly solid reason to some but i think it's fair enough.
SirSlick, I found out last game that sometimes you have to reload the page to quote (in the case of having typed something already or moved from page to page). I hope that helps! c:

ok here's a suggestion: everyone out a full reads list from tr to lowkey tr to null to lowkey sr to sr. if someone is lowkey sr'd it adds points to their score, say one. if they are a sr it adds two.
if they are a lowkey tr, minus one. if they are a tr, minus two.
and then when we get a comprehensive list of the entire town's "read points" we go from there.
The people who started the tucker bw were ant Matt and Bigpock if Gerry is mafia he prob saw that there was no saving Tucker and bussed him I don't get the tr for that
Sin I've played 1 game of forum mafia before this please and that was the game that crashed and burned within 2 days I've had to ask people how to quote right and I still don't know how to post in red ;~;
providing now that my memory serves me correctly he was a member of the tucker strongarm brigade; and was a vocal one at that; i think that it's risky business to superbus that hard on day one; i also had very similar reads to him before i recently reevaluated them, though apparently those reevaluations weren't great
I am willing to also talk but as you can see i'm really upset that i've tried more then half of the people here and i'm getting sr'd still (Although the insults were not needed I ask for forgiveness sorry)

Gira, you SR lines that serve no purpose but to towntell (reasonable, although I personally don't tend to in java mafia unless it's hugely over-exaggerated or pushed for a long period of time), yet you TR'd Lilin?
I'm not entirely sure lynching in Gerry/VL is optimal but if so I think I'd go with Gerry over VL. Reasons I'm not very confident anymore: so many other ppl seem to SR VL and that VL and Claire seem to be the most experienced when it comes to forum mafia, which wouldn't be a problem if I didn't know I was TRing basically everyone here which is probably wrong.
I could out my takes on the game RN that almost don't count as reads, but I feel so icky about them.
