your writings must be in english and they must make sense to be considered valid

you might occasionally want to check this topic for updates on more prizes, rule clarifications, etc.
if you put in some effort into your writing but it doesn't match any of the requirements, your entry's worth might be increased from 1, but it will not be worth as much as proper entries (1.5 for haikus that are slightly wrong, 3-5 for slightly wrong sonnets. if they aren't close to anything correct, they are worth 1. i'm more lenient about sonnets btw.)
if you want to "upgrade" your entry, feel free to (I'm not going to count the old entry. also preferably post on the same acc as your original entry)
basically, the rule of thumb is that if you were to publish your work and they'd call it a haiku/sonnet, then it's a haiku/sonnet. if it's clear that you aimed for a haiku/sonnet but failed to write one, then i'm gonna give you less points (but more likely than not more than 1)
ok i checked yours. it doesn't follow the 5-7-5 syllable rule so you should rewrite
in general: - it should be sandbox-themed [i'm lenient about this so as long as it's relevant to sandbox you're probably fine] - follow the form requirements [look them up on wikipedia if you're unsure. ofc don't follow any content-like requirement bc i imposed my own ones. i'm not very rigorous, but follow the basics & you'll be fine]
